You just saved me a ton of cash. I was actually just getting ready to pull the trigger on one of those Stone guards. And I had no idea of the other potential damage it could cause. I think I'll leave it alone. Thanks again!

Hey, that Model A you worked on looks exactly like one I just bought a few months ago. I literally knew nothing about these cars. I was up late looking through FB marketplace and one person was selling a 31 Roadster and a 28 Roadster pick up truck. I started watching your vids before contacting the seller so I sort of had an idea of what I was looking for and at. Four days later I ended up buying both vehicles and am now sorting them out so I can hop in them and go for a ride whenever I want, because reliability and safety matter. They are really cool and relatively easy to work on. Thank you Paul, Model T and “Dad” for making all these informative vids. They’re a help to me and so many others…

Hello Paul great video going to the car museum.. model T was great help to you .. I like to watch KZbin together you guys make a great team .. I wanted to ask you your thoughts on the heater that is on top of the exhaust manifold … it looks like it was maybe an option later did they work very well did they not work very well how did it happen you could make a little video on there that would be great ..
@ModelA2 жыл бұрын
The manifold heaters were an aftermarket accessory. They are still being made and sold today. They work OK. But if tou have an exhaust leak, you get CO pumped directly into the passenger compartment. I do not have them on any of my cars. Just not worth the risk.
@michaelpeterson43482 жыл бұрын
@@ModelA Paul I could take a couple days to think about your answer… very good point about maybe getting an exhaust leak and CO coming into the car cab … also I’m surprised you did not mention the fact that it takes a big hole cut into the firewall to make it happen.. not sure I’d ever want to cut the firewall … would be a great video if you explained this in a video it may save somebody grief… let’s just keep some nice blankets in the back of the car for “Model T “ she will be fine from the cold ….

Well I have some more than normal play in my steering and eventhough I have the must have book, when you show it it always makes me more confident to do it. So my question is: is this video still coming and if so, when? I would like to fix it in the near future... Best regards!
