do you think you could release your ableton template? It would be very helpful for these beats.

There's nothing really in the template other than empty midi sections and a soft clip on the master (plus the vocal chain that I use in my hyperpop vocal videos). I think it took me like 5 minutes to set up and I did Save As Template or something like that. If there's enough demand I can make a whole video about it lol

I have trouble with melodies every time I try to make hyperpop, I have 0$ to spend and I want to make it sound good. What are some tips you may have?

i have a few free packs on my website! that would be a good place to start. try remaking your favorite melodies too! I’ve remade so many hyperpop songs to learn why I like them

Can u try to make guitar melody on VST? For guys who haven't a real guitar.

that might be a good video idea: can you hear the difference between VST and real guitar haha. Many DAWs have a stock "clean" guitar sound that is a good starting point. From there you could process it in the same way, running it through Guitar Rig (they have a free demo version).

probably not the right place for this but i've been trying to make the sharp sound like in violent by carolesdoughter or patchwerk by sub urban. I'm assuming it's a hihat or a cymbal with alot of effects on it, but I can't seem to get it quite right.. can anyone help me with that or direct me to a tutorial?

hmm it sounds like a trap snare layered with a metal hit. If i want that sound, i usually search metallic snare on splice haha. I'm sure there are yt tutorials on it too. i hope this helps

I held a chord position and moved the bottom note each time. the bottom notes that changed: E, F#, G#, D#. the top notes that stayed the same: B D# F#
