Also fun (unofficial fact) but if you look at some of the emotions they each have a bit of color of the other ones! joy has a bit of sadness, fear has a bit of anger, anger has a bit of fear, sadness has a bit of fear. I'm not sure if it's cannon but I think it's interesting!

I re-created the emotions of all the characters in Inside Out 1 and 2, including Riley and her parents. It was a little frustrating because I still have not seen Inside Out 2. I'm waiting for it to come out on Disney Plus. According to several wikis, Disgust wears makeup and lashes. My personal favorite emotions are anger, embarrassment, and sadness. Fear and ennui were the most difficult because their colors were so similar. I honestly enjoy seeing how people interpret emotions and how different everyone's emotions are. Love it.

The emotions for Riley look amazing 🤯😍 Also to answer your question when you were working on Anger, from what I remember this was either a theory or confirmed, the idea is that Riley's emotions are gendered to mirror which ones she inherited from her parents 🤔😊

Fun fact: When I was in kindergarten, I wanted to watch Boohbah soooo bad. Specifically, the scene when there was a giant floating hot dog. I asked my grandma if she could put the VHS tape into the VCR because it was on top of the tv that sat on a wooden table. We had a huge box tv that was usually sat on the floor. It was hella thick. Grandma told me to wait. So, I asked my mom who also told me to wait. Well, I felt like I was waiting for a long time and decided to put it in myself. Normally, you'd get a step stool or something sturdy to stand on. Yeah, no I chose to stand on a bowling ball that we had. The tv fell on me and I had to get a cast on my leg. I remember being so scared of getting in trouble for making the tv fall that I didn't even feel the pain at first.

My theory on why the emotions are gendered is because Riley is either nonbinary or genderfluid, because she’s the only one shown with male and female emotions. Mom has all female emotions and dad has all male emotions. Also your sims are always amazing! 😍

id like to think that the emotions chose their gender orientation when forming. because the moms were just female depicted emotions and the dads were depicted as male. maybe because riley hasnt fully decided who she is yet as she is still growing and her emotions are out of control (in the sense she is still learning to handle them herself as a teenager) the gender orientation of the emotions are based off the gender she has received those emotions from the most or the gender she associates the feelings the most with.
