Making Isk in Eve Online - Ratting 101 - Four Ohm - April 2019

Four Ohm gives a class on ratting or killing npcs for isk in eve online.
NOTE: The Vexor Navy Issue has been nerfed since this video. See our more recent videos on myrmidon and dominix ratting for new suggestions (updated Dec 2019)

This is a fantastic video! I am new back to Eve after a long time and have been trying to figure out my niche to have fun in this game. I think you just helped me find it! I was focusing on builds for the Rattlesnake but sounds like VNI will get the job done! Any chance your corp is still hiring? I would love to get my learn on and I have some buddies that I would like to bring along too!

I always go for the turrets first they sure can hurt and at long range :) Nice info on the sites wiki.eveuniversity.org/Combat_sites use that a lot.

why would anybody flying a rattlesnake be satisfied with 20M ticks

Sandro Montanaro I rat in a rattlesnake worth 2bil in null and the risk of being popped by pvp gangs is a constant worry. I can’t not focus on the game 100%. With a VNI you can worry a little less due to the isk loose, also also the dps from VNI is all drones so you don’t have to do much to clear a site. Rattle involves more attention. But that’s the way I run it with cruise and sentinels

Rattle is better used for 10/10, but some people like to get into bigger and bigger ships. With the VNI changes last year I think the Ishtar is a better target than Rattle.
