Out of all GTA games, GTA IV Liberty City was the best place for snowy weather it perfectly fits with story and atmosphere of the game .

Oh this is a really cool addition! I know I love the original snow mod that change all the textures to be snow covered, but it wasn't compatiable with EFLC due to it's map changes. So this is perfect!

honestly I love fusion fix for this it does away with the hassle of the old snow mod and the like 20+ other mods that go with it and it makes it easier to gain access to the snow gonna have to try this

I wish Rockstar would’ve added the snow in at some point, probably near the end of the story. Then when either Kate or Roman dies, the city is entirely covered

Not so fun fact:to this day there is only been 4 instances of snow in the entire Gta franchise Liberty City is covered in snow during the mission "Saint Marks Bistro" in Gta San Andreas it actually snows in Gta Liberty City Stories,but only in the "Car Salesman" side mission after level 7 And in the city of Luddendorf,North Yankton in Gta 5 and Gta Online And the Map becoming covered in snow during christmas in Online And since GTA 6 will be in Vice City,Leonida(Miami,Florida) we probably will not see snow

allow me to say GTA 5 is set in Los Santos which is the fictional Los Angeles where it never snows and yet they add snow to it every christmas so don't say never on snow in Vice City because Rockstar doesn't care about realism of any kind

Like an "Ultimate Mod Pack" but with this "lore-friendly" approach. I noticed you’re using a first-person mod. I couldn’t find one that works with the Complete Edition. Maybe I missed something! man you just solved one of the mysteries that i had on my recent playthrough of gta IV, i actually found this number and dialed it, but i didn't knew it is supposed to create a snowy weather, so I just went playing further, and freaked out because the entire map was cowered in white, thought it was some strange GPU issue (it looked kinda weird honestly). Thank you for this video!

I tried installing this mod two times and on my first attempt only some roads were covered in snow while other places and none of the grass or trees had snow on them which resulted in a quite strange atmosphere.

Maybe you need to downgrade the gta 4 version? Certain mods are not supported/ updated in a while.

@SaL-mh9vh Since I downgraded to version 1040 before applying the mod (version that supports almost all mods in the game) I think It was most likely due to the mod files being partially corrupt because I found the exact same snow mod in another site and It worked fine with no single issues covering the whole map in snow

​@@CelestialWolf2461.0.4.0 doesn't support all mods, it's only the best for ENB mods, so yeah Fusion Fix doesn't work with it since it fixes the games broken shaders.

Typically reinstalling it by simply replacing the files will work, but if you run into issues, delete your "update" folder assuming it has no other mods in it and then reinstall the mod as usual.

Yes, Fusion Fix is one of the mods installed in that guide and as long as it's a recent version of Fusion Fix (as in, the past few months) then it includes the snow toggle number.

It was added a few months back, but I'd still recommend the latest version. And no, it doesn't have to rain. It acts the same way as it does in GTAO, snow on surfaces all the time, but the snowfall replaces the rainy weather.

Snow replaces dirt and appears on the shared glass and tire textures. The main glitch that can happen is the snow on the windshield not being correctly mapped and aligned with the windshield wipers. This happens on some of the game's original vehicles when the artist presumed the glass would be clear and symmetrical and didn't worry about flipping or mirroring it.

As long as the version of Fusion Fix is a recent one within the past few months then yes, the number should be there, the easiest way to tell if the feature is there is to check the safehouse places in this video, if the newspaper and graffiti show the number then it will work.

no it doesn't it's same as the old snow mod that's long since been abandoned only this is entered with a phone number instead of needing like 10-20+ mods to make it work and even then all the cars just handle as they would in the rain on the old snow mod

Yes it should work with the Steam version, Fusion Fix is primarily focused on working with the Steam CE version out of the box.

It's not always snowing. The snow always appears on surfaces when enabled, but when it rains, it's replaced with snow instead.
