Darkel actually wasn't cut due to 9/11. He was cut months before that. Rockstar themselfes said that he was removed because his missions didn't fit into the game. As an added bonus, the community saying that Darkel made you blow up a school bus is something Rockstar found to be a funny rumor.

18:19 There is a rare spawn female taxi driver in GTA IV but she doesnt have any voicelines. The same goes with rare npcs such as the Mailman and Utility Post Guy. Also, (may not be oddities) but you can exploit the Replay system and complete side missions such as the Fire Truck and Taxi which is required for 100% completion. However, certain communities said that this is NOT a commendable method since it can break your game but I remember vividly I finished III 100% with cheats and never had any problems. Lastly, you can super jump too with the replay, most speedrunners use it to get away from the cops but the downside of using this is, you can die instantly or lose health.

Fun fact about that taxi car crusher glitch: If you save the glitched taxi, it becomes collision damage proof meaning no damage will be applied to your car if you run into walls, cars, etc. You can combine this glitch with two other glitches to get a near invincible car. Do the grand turismo glitch to get yourself a bulletproof cheetah, use the taxi mission in any car glitch to turn the cheetah into a "taxi" to use for the taxi crusher ghost car glitch, then save the glitched bulletproof cheetah, and boom; bullet and collision damage proof cheetah. Ofc, it will explode if it flips tho so maybe make one or two of these things.

Cheetah with crusher glitch become ALL PROOF car, so not only bullets, but also fire resistant and rocket/grenade/exploding cars immune.

Yeah, the bulletproof cheetah is what got me through this game and made it a lot more fun to me. It felt like Claude's personal vehicle and it felt like I was planning ahead.

13:19 is the Airport, it was intially in Staunton island at that point in the games development but was later moved to Shoreside Vale because they were likely running out of time and needed something to fill that space they hadn't got time to develop. In the 2001 map you showed slightly afterwards it seemed like they wanted to keep the Airport there but realized the other design was too big and looked off, but once they realized how small the Airport was they took the big Airport design they had earlier and put it in Shoreside instead. Also this is just one critique for the video, but the fact that the map only took up like 2 minutes kinda baffles me, there is so much more information on changes in the map from the e3 game footage, old trailers etc.

The Shark is the early Stinger, not the Banshee. The Banshee was called the Rumbler, and was still based on a Dodge Viper.

The Maurice, Panto, Shark and Beamer are all names from GTA 2, given to entirely different types of cars. As for the Beetle looking car, that came from GTA 1 and 2. Called the bug in both games. Also unrelated but the Stallion is from GTA 1 as well. That road outline in Portland looks to be the elevated train tracks. I think they should have kept the airport on Staunton, even if it looks silly. Shoreside is hardly a suburb and the initial layout looks like it would have accommodated that setting much more, instead we get Portland lite. If I recall correctly, Darkel was removed before 9/11 happened.

The "unknown car" at 7:12 looks like a proto version of Roman's cab from GTA IV. Maybe some designer thought about it or saw it in an old folder when they were making GTA IV and got inspired to put a Chrysler M body styled car in the game

The Esperanto in 4 is a bustleback Lincoln with the front of a G body Malibu. While the unknown car is an almost carbon copy of a B-body 76-85 Impala or Caprice.

14:21 I think those were removed after the 9/11 attacks. A LOT of things had to be changed in GTA3 because of 9/11/2001. Including the color of the police cars, which were originally blue to represent the NYPD, then changed to black after the attacks.
