So, Harvest roots in the fall, usually after a few hard frosts have turned the stems brittle. Dig them on a dry day and use a stiff brush to remove as much soil as possible. Wash, air dry and peel off root bark. Quality product.

Thank you for the video. I have a question. Can you dry the roots and powder them up. Then eat the powder in some yoghurt or so? Or is there a reason why you should not eat the roots like that? I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
@magicalhoof74314 жыл бұрын
You are a natural medicine maker. Yes, you can powder the dried Japanese knotweed root, store it in sealed containers, and add it to any food or drink. This will provide health benefits but also turn the clock back on your body, since its a super antioxidant and is an anti-ageing compound.

I would go to amazon and type in a keyword that you are interested in like foraging, or wild edibles, or medicinal herbs. Peterson guides are great for foraging, and there are many great books to get you started there.

I have the pink knotweed is it the same and can you make a tincture with it. 🤔 Many people say you should boil it several times and throw the water before consuming it because of the high 🤔 ( Oxalic Aid )🤔 I have been for several years eating two or three of the young leaves once in awhile and have had no problems. 🤔🙂🤔 I have never made a tincture out of it but I do dry the leaves for making tea . 🤔☕🤔 A little each day goes a long way don't over do it . 🤔 I heard it is good for your heart and circulation of your blood . 🤔 I heard it's wonderful for women who have very heavy monthly periods .🤔 I heard you can use the tea on cuts and wounds to stop bleeding . 🤔 I heard drinking tea from the leaves or eating some of the leaves when you have diarrhea helps. 🤔 Like everything and anything a little goes a long way .🤔 Thank you for sharing . 🙂

Japanese knotweed does have oxalate acid, but not the roots. I make tincture out of the roots. If you consume the tops, then you should boil and toss the water at least twice.

To use this for joint pain do you take it internally or apply externally for a wash?
@magicalhoof7431 Жыл бұрын
Take internally. Buy EDTA Detox cream on Amazon and apply it to your joints which will bind to the graphene oxide in your joints and carry it away, relieving you of pain and inflammation.

@@tapangasoul6928 I fill the jar to the top. Some herbs must be used fresh and some must be used dry, it depends upon the herb.

Can you also do a water extraction as well?? Thank you for taking the time to do your videos.
@magicalhoof74315 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. The reason alcohol is used is because it extracts well, and it is automatically preserved. Water extracts are excellent but must be made often to avoid mold or spoilage. The way to go is make the root into a tea, perhaps with other herbs for flavor, bottle it and drink it within a week or so, then make new batches. You can also make this tincture with vegetable glycerine and it is preserved as well, but not as good as the alcohol extract. When I make a glycerine extract, I also make the alcohol extract, then combine them to make a tasty well-rounded tincture.

Magical Hoof I’m only saying bcuz I keep hearing about channels on here being censored & even Facebook is now prohibiting anyone who talks about natural cures or anti chemotherapy etc. The multi billion dollar pharmaceutical companies r in control of every thing from the food we eat, the chemicals they put on/in our foods & all the medicine that ppl take. I’ll never understand y it’s food AND drug administration..? They r 2 completely separate things yet in this world they r 1. It’s all run by evil millionaires!!

Dear Magical Hoof. Are there any herbs that could help people with Parkinson's disease? Not asking for a cure of course, but maybe something that could help with the body being stronger in case of Parkinson's. I believe our bodies fight off a lot of things throughout our lives, but sometimes helping the body fight off ( Parkinson's in this case) might give that person a better quality of life in meantime. Thank You for all you do. You are a gem, really.
