Those chives are garlic chives and it is widely available in the northeastern part of India since time immemorial. In Manipur it's an important ingredient in everyday cooking. Dal tadka made using garlic chives is very aromatic and tasty. Garlic chives omelette is an all time favourite. It can be used for preparing any kind of sabzi. Just try replacing onion with garlic chives in any dish, especially the vegetarian dishes. The kimchi looks good. Authentic Gochugaru isn't available in Amazon and definitely not available where I live.

Chive leave say first time seen at your place. If you visit north east , chive leave is main herbs people eat in thier day to day life. Even it is easily available in Uttarakhand as well (saying as per my stayed for 5 years)
