This is really cool, Taetro. I’m always excited to see you post music on the Circuit Tracks. I actually got into the hobby because your channel. I started with a launch key mini and ableton, but very quickly transitioned to dawless with the circuit tracks. I am not an experienced musician and didn’t have a lot of free time to invest in learning a daw on top of music theory. I found that with the circuit tracks, I am able to get into making music a lot faster. I also spend 8-12 hours a day on my computer, so I quickly realized that I needed a hobby away from a computer. I think I’ll soon be ready to learn ableton though. When I do, I definitely want to check out your new series on learning ableton. Thanks again for all you bring to the community!

I’ve really wanted to get into granular synths for pads (especially owning a Microcosm pedal) and the lemon drop has such an aesthetic appeal and compact form factor. How are you liking it so far?? …as well as your journey away from the laptop??
@joshualane17162 жыл бұрын
I’d personally avoid letting aesthetics and even form factor guide you in this market (unless you’re really cramped for space. I’d focus on sound first, and then workflow, features, I/O.

@@joshualane1716 Aesthetics and form factor aren't important to some people, but they can have practical implications for others. For example, I have ADHD and poor design in either of these areas can cause me to be overwhelmed to the point of not being able to create

@@joshualane1716 personally I sit in front of computers 8 hours a day for work so I'm even more intrigued by creating away from computer screens

Great video and sound. Where can I find a complete pack with this kind of patches for my Circuit Tracks? What comes from the factory are harder sounding or crazy sounding synths...

How does the lemondrop work with the circuit tracks..i thought the circuit tracks only recognizes midi files and the lemondrop uses wavs.

hey taetro! ive googled this for far too long with no luck, so I was hoping you could help me out. is there any way, we can change the function of the sustain pedal from momentary to toggle, when connected to a midi controller in Ableton or any daw.?

How do i make the traks stumble? Not all the steps at the same speed right? Or camera artifact? Shout out to 1010! Got the blackbox. If they had a little script to copy 1button looper behaviour to each clip, they would have a 16 track looper. With quantized different loop lengths. Destroy boss rcs.
@Taetro2 жыл бұрын
have no idea what you're talking about but turn off record quantization

How do you normally set up your packs on the circuit tracks? Do you use stock patches with your own samples on the drum tracks?

There are many paths. Some do it part time, some do it full time and can cover their expenses, others make millions! Look for the tangible monetizable elements that your favorite producers partake in

Well, it actually IS a computer. It has a digital interface, -tools and -assets that are focussed on making music. So, let's get a bit philosophical and ask ourselves what does DAW actually mean? Not judging your art. Your music sounds sick, I have to say. great performance!
