I did some basic leather working a number of years ago, dog collars and a harness for my dog. I have not done any since moving to a smaller apartment - no room for a work area. How do you sew the gusset at 1:33, is this stitched first? Then at 2:07 when placed on the outer shell do you sew the outer gusset edge and then catch all the layers? It looks like you stop short by one stitch from the corner and then as you do the perimeter you come around the corner and do two stitches. Is that right. If you could do a short demo vid that would be truly appreciated.
