The fun fact is that Randy is a geologist specialising in seismology, and the real guy who invented the Auto-Tune algorithm (Andy Hildebrand) worked in the field of geophysics for the petrochemical industry. Which uses similar techniques as seismology.

We can all get along just fine by acknowledging that there is a difference and treating other human beings with common courtesy regardless; perhaps even forming friendships and coming to understand each other’s unique point of view and growing as people as a result of it. Differences are there to be overcame, not to be ignored. The Good Lord loves us all, and we should be good to one another.

Effects of Trey and Matt ageing away from the kids and more towards Randy They understood him better when they got older and stopped seeing him as a copy of their dads but as themselves. Like from Ages 5-13 my favourite Simpson was Bart. Then as I got older my favourite became Homer. Canonically Homer is only on his late 30s. I’ve watched myself be younger than all but Maggie. Then I caught up with Lisa, then Bart. Now I’m closer to Homer’s age than barts. As time goes by identified less with Bart and more with Homer.

It's one of my favourite reoccuring formulas on South Park is the way that Stan will say one thing and the other characters will always just throw their own narrative over it to make it seem like he said something else. Like when he confessed to breaking the Jefferson Lake Dam and everyone just took his confession as some kind of poetic way of saying everyone broke the Dam.

@@garganrose last week the women’s and men’s bathrooms were closed all weekend because the main pipe going through those bathrooms were backed up. The plumbers pulled out socks,tampons and other items when they snaked the pipe. These bathrooms were located on the unsecured side of the airport where the homeless have access so this wasn’t unsurprising.

South Park hasn't lost it. They still make good satire. The only complaint I kind of agree with is that it's turning into a political satire rather than pop culture satire. Granted, many people say "politics became pop culture," and there's some truth in that, so is it really their fault? I do wish they'd take a break from heavily focusing on political satire though.
