I enjoy the Mama Mai episodes so much. I enjoy the Jeannie episodes too, it's just that Mama Mai reminds me so much of my aunt who lives far away, and because of the pandemic I haven't really gotten to see her, so every time there's a video with Mama Mai in it, it makes me feel as if my aunt was right here with me. i recommend you get spring rolls next (or sometimes they are called summer rolls). They are rice paper rolls with fresh veggies, meat, and noodles and they were my favorite vietnamese food when i was young.

Hello Emily. I am Vietnamese. Your host put a lot of time and effort into making the broth. Just put the hoisin and sriracha sauces in a dip dish and use it for the meat. At the restaurants, dump as much hoisin and sriracha sauces as you want.

To see mamma mai make it on video step by step was a real treat for this CHALLENGING dish. I only eat pho in a vietnamese restaurant. I could not possibly make all this at home.

Thats the brisket, the whole chunk of meat. My mom would roast a whole ginger and onion. She would also "clean" the bones by boiling it first with a bit of vinegar and salt. Then cleaning in the sink. For a cleaner and clearer broth. Then she did what mama mai did. Put everything in the pot then she cook it over night for at least 8 hours. We would have pho in the morning as breakfast because the smell of pho would filled the whole house. The gross thing your mom skimmed out of the Pot is from the bones. That dirtiness from the bones. Your mom pho is very different yet unique. Not 100% traditional but I would definitely would try
