Today we're answering a question we received from, well, we'll just call her "Ms Deborah" and she asked us how do you get your partner to finally do something like a vacation and stop complaining about not having enough money. Yes, I had to study those passage for a homework assignment. Tabitha or Dorcas was a wonderful servant of God served the people of.her community and everyone called her hands blessed as well. They reached out to Peter immediately after she died for help. That tells how important she was to the people of her community. Great passage.

I love this segment. Reminds me of how my husband and my thinking was when we got married 40 years ago but we always made a way because we wanted to expose our son to what a vacations were. Now that he is fully grown and we are retired, we go and do whatever we want to do and don’t give money a second thought. We come up with a plan and make it work. Our best vacations are cruising. Enjoy life!!

My husband and I did an African safari. We had a cheetah jump up on the top of our Jeep’s open roof. It was the best experience ever! The animals are more afraid of us than we know. I’m still alive, that was 2 years ago😅😂

@@roselynholloway7863 Absolutely, we plan to do it again once we start our family so that our kids can get real life experience of seeing the animals in their natural habitat. We saw baboons casually walking past our porch, when they noticed us they would grab their babies and run. We saw the male lion on the bedrock, and he didn’t retaliate as long as no one was stupid enough to get out of the car lol. We were told by the guide that they mostly attack white tourists, because they are usually the ones that come and kill the animal’s for sport. With black people, they see us as allies as long as we don’t sell them out. They are SUPER intelligent creatures.

My husband and I just came back from Kigali, Rwanda last week and my husband had the same issues regarding safety.....we can recommend Go Kigali Tours and ask for Eric. They are professional, SAFE- there were NO close calls, we did NOT leave the vehicle and Chance...you Really SHOULD go out there to see it with Tab....that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is a great topic! I just took my kids on our first cruise to the Bahamas. Their first time on a plane too. I never thought it was even possible because I never got to take trips as a kid. I’m so grateful for the resources now to plan in advance and pay months for things.

My family and I are planning to go to Africa May- June of next year. Tab you and I are alike in vacation. Last year when you went to Hawaii my family and I had planned it . We was scheduled three weeks after you and your family went. So beautiful!

Growing up in the 70’s my parents “vacation” was when we went down south to see our grandparents & cousins on both sides during Christmas winter break for a week on Interstate I-95 to South Carolina! It was a 12 hour trip in the car with my parents & 4 siblings. Sometimes in the summer they would take us to Coney Island or to the park to picnic but that was the most we would do. After traveling in different European countries while in the army , I took vacation with my husband. So I was determined to get out to go away to destinations in the states or staycations in New York City. It’s not about spending a lot of money, but the memories with your family. Even if it’s a short weekend to a play or museum, park or the beach. Life is too short and you need to make time for not only the family, but also quality time with your spouse or significant other. Yea, cruises are really cheap. I also have friends who would pack food, drinks, lunches, etc and go to big tourist attraction type free parks. Another set of friends take trips with groups and they take turns cooking to save money. Now, I personally can't do cruises anymore due to motion sickness but they do have great deals! And I'm never going on a vacation to cook, that's not a vacation to me personally so I don't fit in that group. But a car trip to a lake with attractions is cool. I agree that everybody's vacation should fit them.

Tab! I know y’all said don’t compare but I am always telling my husband about you and Chance and how we’re so similar. We’re both from North Carolina, we have both taken that leap to making our acting careers a reality, we both have a bonus baby we have dogs with similar names (ours is named Brownie) I went vegan for medical reasons (not successfully vegan anymore, but I am working towards it) my husband is very much like Chance and has finally come around to my shenanigans. 😂 I now do social media because it’s the closest thing to being an actress but also just being able to be me unapologetically. Tab, a friend of mine stayed at Giraffe Manor. Loved seeing the giraffe sticking his neck through her window. Chance, a staff attendant is always present when the giraffes interact with their guests.😊
