Car rides are so great for good talks with anyone. I represented children, as their lawyer, for 20+ years and I'd take older teens out to get ice cream or something so they would talk with me. They would tell me more when sitting in the passenger seat than in a stuffy office, across a desk.

I appreciate you all sharing your intimate experiences. This is such an important topic in our community. I disagree regarding therapy. Therapy is definitely an important factor regarding self and relationships. I believe that it should be a requirement of self and in a relationship. IMO, all have inherited some form of trauma, be it self-inflicted or inherited. Therapy should be a requirement! Great Friday segment.
