@@neekneek5465 Yeah, since it comes WITH shoulder surfing. I just wanna point out another issue I had - fresh moves/player eye animations won't work for me, since Entity Model Textures AND Features crash my game, at least for me on Forge. As obviously required, I do have Optifine installed. I don't know what could cause such conflicts. 🤷‍♂

For even better immersion I would use ‘real cam’ instead of ‘first person model’ because it actually tracks your head position and rotation correctly. This is useful when using it with better combat where your camera shakes and swings along as you sweep your sword around exactly like it looks in third person. I would also add ‘camera overhaul’ to that to further enhance immersion!

Yeah, too bad it makes it impossible to see anything the moment you have any armor on. (and no, deactivating that doesn't really help since then you're defeating the purpose of the mod.)

I found a pretty good solution though: I installed both mods real cam and first person model, in the real cam config I only turn off render player model (it’s called something like that). That’s it.. works like a charm! This will get rid of any armour or outer player skin layer that’s in the way, while maintaining the head position tracking!

@@BiocrabI was referring to fabric mods. Maybe you haven’t installed optifabric along with optifine? I don’t see why optifine wouldn’t work, but, I think sodium is a better option nonetheless, especially on fabric! But for forge, ported versions of sodium such as rubidium or magnesium (make sure to not mix any addons designed specifically for either of the two or another) still overall provide better performance. For shader support with sodium you could use Iris (or Oculus for forge)

Shoulder Surfing and Better third person no longer work together btw if anyone runs into issues with the camera. Enable Shoulder Surfing's "Decoupled Camera" setting in config for the same effect 🙂

True, this is a great showcase, and I found out about a lot of new stuff. I've also seen a cool mod called giacomo's fishing net. It feels like something that belongs in the base game. Everything from being able to throw the net, to the simple texture and mechanics. There should be more videos made on underrated mods, as there are some really good ones out there!

Two mods I would suggest are Not Enough Animations and What Are They Up To. Not Enough Animations are for giving players animations for actions they didn't have before, or were previously exclusive to first person. It was intentionally designed to be used with First Person 3D Model. What Are They Up To meanwhile adds animations for menus, as well as for going AFK.

You should add "Not Enough Animations" which adds third person animations like when you ride a boat, your arms actually row the oars and ladder climbing animations and when you eat, the hand actually goes to your mouth (first person model compatible). I haven't downloaded the modpack so I don't know if you have the mod or not.

I am very pleased that now with mods you can create the same Minecraft story mode. Animation, armor, shaders, monsters, camera changes, 3D skins and even animated faces. Sometimes when I play I remember how I played Minecraft story mode when I was little 🥲

08:21 if you dont want to disable some features you dont like for every new worlds you create, you can simply delete them from the mod file. just rename it from .jar to .zip and search the names of the functions you dont want. There hidden somewhere in the maze of folders mods usally have. Then just rename it back to .jar and youre good to go!
