The Blacksmith should be Ireland's Ambassador to the world. His friendly manner and down to earth personality are to be respected. Thanks for doing this video, Cilsaire.

Tom is legendary for being a gentleman. I've never met him personally but I know plenty of people who know him and I've heard a lot of great stories. I always get told that you can't walk away from a conversation with Tom without feeling positive.

Such a fun, quick video. We have a Renaissance Festival here in Michigan and there is a glass blower and there is also a blacksmith who both come every year and I always sit and watch because I find those types of artistry/craft making both fascinating and compelling. Thanks for sharing this awesome human and his amazing metal works with all of us! Sláinte! ~Be Blessed

Love metal work. Growing up raising horses was around a lot of blacksmiths, in the oil field a lot of welding and fabricating. I was 9 or 10 the first time I welded and did a lot all through high school. Whenever coming across a ye olde fashion metal artist, I just want to watch and join right in.

2:25 Smart man, he would be a hit in the states with that attitude, especially at Renaissance faires.

Clare, I love seeing new content from you but this might be my favorite! Is there any chance of a longer video coming out? I'd love to see more of him as well as you learning about smithing! Hope you, Alex, and Millie are doing well! Cheers from Kansas City!

A born again pagan ? There’s nothing wrong with that. I loving these festivals, now that you’ve mentioned what’s coming up in the new year, I can hardly wait. Absolutely brilliant❤.

One thing i really like about these? I get to learn how completely wrong I've been pronouncing words i have only read. The start of summer "bal-in-tine" says my brain. Like so many times, I am quite wrong. :)

Oh, Lordy, been an age since I've had a good Barry's XD I'd love to do smithing, but I'm shaky with my hands, so I doubt I could, not sure it'd be safe. Been watching since you interviewed Ace/Ink for the Storytime podcast channel, and I've got to say, it's been a blast. Long may it continue! An update on Ace, she's since finished her podcast (April last year), bit disappointing, would have liked her to keep on going, but she's now running a convention, so I think she's a bit too busy to keep with the interviews. I enjoyed her work, but at the same time, the fandom needed an opportunity to grow, the attention on her KZbin channel was always rather small, and the convention is an opportunity for her to take that step forward. Also Cork gets to say they had Ireland's first Furry convention, so that's something to add to the list of things to boast about, hahah!

For Clare the journalist a wee bit of Wordsworth: Great God! I’d rather be a Pagan suckled in a creed outworn; So might I, standing on this pleasant lea, have glimpses that would make me less forlorn; Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea; Or hear old Triton blow his wreathèd horn. Hi to Millie!
