Thanks man! God bless you as well! Sorry, I have not had much of a chance to go to the Electronic Warehouse, especially since I move to boston next week.

Now that was very cool. How did you come up with the idea of digging into that radar motion sensor to do this? I have some of those and will have to try this on my scope myself.

Can you show us your home studio tour

Its not much of a home studio, just a desk in the corner of my bedroom. The rest of it is a mess haha

What about a doppler sensor for security cameras? Is that a reliable way to turn on a video camera or do they use some other technique?
@NiHaoMike643 жыл бұрын
You can, but nowadays it's cheaper to do computer vision since you don't need a separate sensor and some way to communicate the sensor outputs.
@JohnDuthie3 жыл бұрын
@@NiHaoMike64 That's fascinating. Cameras must have a low-power mode with a low frame rate and maybe that kicks into 30/60fps once motion is detected using computer vision? Is that more efficient than using external sensors? Do people care?
@TannerTech3 жыл бұрын
Good points, I know this works well to turn on lights and such when people walk nearby. It would be interesting to do an in-depth analysis of modern security camera. I assume the camera is constantly recording and saves what it has been recording for the past bit once it detects motion. I know that is what the ring doorbells do.
