Making my "First" Balsa Fishing Lure

Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever made a lure out of balsa. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and buttery the carving was.
The whole process was much easier than I anticipated and I definitely see why so many people use it. The buoyancy of this stuff is amazing and makes it pretty easy to give a lure a lot of action.
I'm definitely going to be making more balsa crankbaits from now on. Just need this dang weather to get better for me to tolerate being outside lol.

Nice lure! Hard to catch a bass this time of year on a fast moving crank bait. You’ll tear them up on it in when the water warms up!

Your certificate still says "Treys Art"... I know you renamed your channel, but "Art" should have remained in the name of your channel, because every lure you make is a work of art! By the way, I don't know that I was ever able to download the certificate when you posted a link. I am "Temperature Sensitive" as well... I always say, "I do mind the cold at all, as long as it do get below 80°!" LOL Great job as always!!!

If you want good quality go with an iwata. You could always get one of the cheap ones from harbor freight to practice with too.
