Oh my gosh!!! So proud of you, the designs are beautiful and the whole collection is so cohesive! By the way, a wise seamstress once told me that she never ever uses black serger thread! I guess it has more dye particles that can actually wear out the tension dials, and that her friend who repairs machines says that’s a HUGE, avoidable problem they often see! She advised me to use navy or dark grey as my darkest colour. I’ve just been passing it on to everyone I know uses black serger thread! I guess it’s to the point that she said “I don’t know why they even sell it”.. yikes! Also I love the small accents in the print silk, it makes it look super intentional and not that you only had a bit left hehe

When I heard your comment about not having many plus-sized people buying I remembered looking at your store and noted you only had one plus-size model in one photo by herself, I went over to your shop with my plus-sized friend to try and give some proper ideas for you to grow and she noted it didn't seem very inviting for her size even with the one model in your store, maybe a small investment would be hiring more plus sized models for more pictures, even maybe make your shop 50/50 your size models and plus size models to make it seem more inviting. An example would be Cider which has an entire tab dedicated to plus size models wearing their clothes and seem very inviting for someone like my friend :) Just some buisness ideas from one owner to another

Hi! I appreciate the feedback! Honestly, I don't feel 100% comfortable marketing myself fully to the plus size community until I've had a bit more experience with it! I can do it on a case by case basis, but I don't know if I'm skilled enough to do it on a bigger scale just yet, which is why I haven't made that investment. But thank you so much for the feedback!

Yea! That’s the beauty of my brand! It would lose a lot of its most important qualities if I get it manufactured. It wouldn’t be size inclusive, wouldn’t be able to make alterations or customizations, and it would be less sustainable to produce a larger amount of clothing rather than just what already sold!
