I've been a fan of sushi chefs Taku Outdoorcheflife and Yoya Takahashi Yoyaman, watching them on Buzzfeed, Munchies, Vice etc. KZbin even way before starting this Yakitori channel. Not only did I get to meet them, we got to cook and eat together! While sharing stories and getting to know each other we broke down chickens and fish to make Yakitori, sushi, and even delicious curry using the freshly cut chicken breast!
Watch the rest of this day on Outdoorcheflife's channel's video:
• WE MADE THE BEST YAKIT...
and make sure to give him a follow!

Thank you so much to Yoya "Yoyaman" Takahashi for hosting us at Champion's Curry!

Feel free to adjust any of the steps to match your style as what I love about Yakitori culture is that it's a cuisine that promotes individual freedom of expression.

It's obvious that the food is made with love, by all three chefs. The best kind of food, always. Much respect for everyone in this video. I really appreciate your kindness in teaching. Thank you.

Recent subscriber here. I used to work at a yakitori restaurant many years ago but I was just a kitchen helper and not responsible for putting the skewers together, so its cool to see just how exactly the chicken is broken down!

The level of attention you put into your video editing is amazing and I'm really happy to see your perspective on this collab! It looked like a legendary day of food prep, cooking, eating, drinking, etc. Not necessarily in that order haha. Awesome video Yakitoriguy! 👍

It's all humble respect. Taku's a homie and is definitely super skilled but we both admire Yoyaman as the master chef who's been doing this for way longer than both of us was cooking combined.
