I bought a no roll mold after watching this video Steve. The no rolls and tips from a lot of your videos have helped me watch my two favorite combos (a Shimano Cardiff 400 on an UGLY STICK bwb 1140 7' action MH and another UGLY STICK, 8 ' bwb 1120 action H with a Diawa 17lc accudepth plus) bend over double in the rod holder with the tips well in the water. I fish the warrior river around Gorgas steam plant in Cordova Al. which is home to some nice Cats and The World Record 69.5 lb. Salt Water Stripe caught by my good buddy James Bramlett,Sayree Al. who has also taught me a great deal about big cats and fishing in general. Thank you Steve and please keep the videos coming. PS.if my tackle gets stolen, I'll mimic your rod and reel set up. You have proven them extremely capable.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! My favorite water is the Coosa River in GA. I used no-roll sinkers for the first time in Spring of 2014. They are great for the deep currents of the Coosa.

steve, i have that exact same setup and if you keep the mold on top of the pot in between pours it will stay real hot and will slow the solidifying of the lead just enough to make the sinkers come out alot prettier with less creases. i wear leather glovrs when i do them because i keep the mold so hot. Just a tip to get prettier sinkers.

I live in the northern Kentucky region, and I primarily fish the Ohio River. As a bank fisherman, I particularly enjoy fishing a place called the Falls of the Ohio, a stretch of river with a rocky bottom that consistently holds fish year round. As a high school student, I can only get out to fish every so often, and your videos have been extremely informative and have seriously helped me take full advantage of my limited time on the water. Back in November I actually caught by first ever blue cat- 17lbs 3oz. Nice break from the homework. Thanks for all you do for the sport of catfishing and I look forward to watching your future videos! -James

Being in the upper Ohio Valley, my favorite pool of the Ohio river is my hometown pool, the NewCumberland pool. I've caught 50" flathead, 30" walleye, 24" smallmouth and many other trophy quality sized fish out of this pool in my many years of either trolling in my boat or anchored up on a hotspot. I'll still mention my second favorite spot too. Being a short 2 hours away the walleye and perch fishing in June/July on Lake Erie out of Geneva, OH is very close second place, but then again, I think anywhere I got a line in the water is my favorite spot! Take care Steve. Love the channel!

Steve, It was great actually meeting the man that I have learned so much from last month. Moving back to the South from the Northwest, I had to re-learn how to fish for southern species and learn to actually use cut bait rather than chicken liver. You have been an inspiration! The spot in Cumberland City you told me about along the wall was a great hole. I went the next day with my little brother and he caught his first 15+ pound Blue; we caught two 20 pounders that morning out of that spot. I could definitely use the no-roll kit. We are learning to fish the Truman Lake area in Warsaw Mo, have always fished the smaller waters, like the Grand and Thompson rivers near Chillicothe Mo. I remember making sinkers with my dad and his fishing buddy when I was a kid. Miss them now and hope I can remember all that they tried to teach me way back when. Thanks for the vidoes.
