You can use this to literally stick the fabric of your choice onto the walls, too! Rewet it for easy peeling, wipe again to remove slight whitish residue.

Wall paper sizing allows wall paper to be removed easily. It’s been around for decades.

Prep the wall with something called sizing and then it’s really easy to remove wallpaper with water.

@@SteffieeGee Sizing is a water based clear mix wall prep, purchase it in wallpaper section of hardware department. Makes peeling the wallpaper off without taking the drywall with it.

@@TheRobinsoneb1 apply the sizing to the wall. It’s not glue. It helps to bond with the glue you apply so when it comes to removing the wallpaper later on, it can be removed without damaging the drywall. Good luck you can do this.

Drywall is more easily damaged (though also an easier fix), but regardless, a good removable product shouldn't penetrate the surface paint. IMO, a shell or glossier finished wall (that is easy to wipe stuff off of) tends to be more forgiving of temporary "adhesives" upon removal. Ultimately, surface smoothness is going to determine adherence, and paint finish will be more important than whatever material wall it covers (obviously not brick or exposed porous cement slabs etc).

I've heard this a couple of times now and don't understand. Why do people say, you can't remove "traditional" wallpapers? I've used them for decades and never had an issue. But I'm from Europe. Maybe our wallpapers are different.

Oh no! I’m so sorry! We didn’t have that happen when we did it with our wallpaper so I’m not sure how you would remove it. Maybe try using a spray bottle with water and wiping? Again, I am so sorry!

I did this had it up from 2019 to 2022 id say if you live in spt with thin walls where it’s humid dnt do it i had doft spots on wall and discoloration

Woven is "woven" from natural fibers and nonwoven is synthetic vinyl.

You can also make bolsa faux wall panels to cover in any fabric choice, then screw panels by the corners on the wall in segments. Another trick is to cover the wall in a strong contact paper and use it as a base for wall length collages, art that transforms into wall coverings, then coat with Mod Podge or even a very dilluted paint to look like a water color landscape over sharp, contrasting images. The possibility becomes endless and you create your own canvas. I have done this with all mediums. Or actually use it as a base to wall paper over so you can use real wallpaper glue and not damage your walls. When you want it gone, you just peel it off or unscrew the panels. Like making your own wall stickers. Bolsa is thin and inexpensive. You can literally cut it with sharp utility scissors to size. Home Depot usually carries slates of it. Also it allows you to customize walls. Large prints can be duplicated or you can create a very textured, layered floral scene, abstract, etc. If you have a good copy machine you can print quality images of 8x10 florals, birds, greenery...cut them out...and construct your own design/repeat pattern. Or use professional services for jumbo size prints. Engineering prints from Office Depot is amazing for black and white graphics & big sizes for cheap. The paper is thin and better for wall collage adhesive. You are doing an amazing job. Your house and style are extraordinarily inspirational.❤🏆
