I watched it, end to end, in one sitting. I HAVE NEVER EVEN WATCHED A MOVIE IN ONE SITTING. At several points i screamed in sheer terror, realising the insane amount of detail you were getting into for the tiniest of the details. I felt actual, physical pain, and a ton of shame at myself, promising to do better the next time. This is a reminder of what it takes to be the absolute best, the GOD of your field. We sir, bow to your genius. Oh also, thank you

Your attention to detail is impeccable and I can actually taste your enjoyment and excitement out of creating such a detailed environment, even if it can get tedious and difficult. This work, and all of your work, really is a testament to how wonderful you are for this community. I love how focused you are on the small details, and loved doing it, like when you were explaining even the reasoning behind putting several of the same poster on the walls. Love to see Fusion in the mix. Wonderful to hear your remark about it being the biggest time saver in the last few years of your work. It seems worth mentioning that you use Moi presumably as the interim converter from Step to FBX due to its ability to convert the triangulated mesh faces to quads quite decently. It is unfortunate that this is still necessary, as the F360 community has been asking for this kind of functionality to be built in for many years to the direct OBJ export process for many years now. Anyways, this is of course a small technical detail in a very large macro scale video on a great project. Thanks for sharing.
@CorneliusDammrich5 жыл бұрын
Thanks alot :) Fusion is a huge timesaver, yes. These days I actually tend to go back to SDS modelling though, it just feels cleaner and is way better for unwrapping in later stages. The last bits of quality for textures and materials come from substance and for this I need solid UVs. It's way slower sadly.

Hi Cornelius, excellent work with me, thanks for your effort, I'd like to ask you, do you often model hard surface in F360, because I saw F360 has a really strong powerful with hard surface(very fast), but when we import into another 3D software(like 3dsmax as I'm using,casue of its irregular grid ,it might be quite hard to unwraping right?
