Recently I had a chance to visit IMA on occasion of pass out ceremony in which my son was involved. He passed out as Army Officer. I was amazed to witness the passed out as well as night drill parades.. Really IMA makes a G.Cadet into Iron-man who would be able to defend the safety and honour of the motherland.Only one of crore gets chance to have training at IMA.

Watching something like this really gives goosebumps out of excitement and inspiration at the same time. I just can imagine what sense of pride and and a feeling of accomplishment the candidates would have felt when they got selected . the academy turned crude boys into polished gentlemen and that is clearly the objective of the academy.I as an aspirant for the indian army feel proud and inspired by the class of army officers prepared by the academy and wish to get selected too. No matter the odds I will join IMA even though I do not have expertise in any field nor do I excel in studies or sports.I would even say that I have failed to my word multiple times so not honourable also. Not fully honest as well because I have lied where ,I could to keep my parents happy and to not be looked down upon. I have no mentor or a lineage of Officers in my family ,I am simply surrounded by people who demotivate me intentionally and un intentionally via their actions to not think big and accept mediocrity but I will not no matter what for my dream. I post this not for sharing my pitiful situation because it is,the same as others but the goal is to prove that if a,person like me cam do that who has only knowledge of 3 things hard work,consistency,improvisationthen any body can. And their is,no plan B this,is the plan.Plan IMA
