For example, we expected Jon to face off and defeat the Night King in GoT, but our expectations were subverted and it was Arya who took him down. That’s subversion done wrong because it was infinitely worse than what we expected.

I was very hesitant of this show initially, but I'm happy to say every actor and actress nailed it. Great writing, stunning production, cool locations and fantastic costuems. My only complaint is a few pacing issues, but that's trivial compared to the absolutely solid show we got. Looks like the gang had a lot of fun backstage. Well done everyone x

No Spoilers but anyone thinking this is going to be a happy ending should remember it is from the same author who wrote Game of Thrones. If they follow the book expect at least 50% of the characters you have already met in the first two episodes to die. And some of the dragons. The book they are adapting is a history of a civil war within a powerful family that has dragons. No one is safe.

yes, that badass little girl rides the biggest dragon in the world (alive). in the books chronology is a little different, when king Viserys chooses Allicent over her, she is already a dragonrider, and she could not care less about being sidelined. she had more interest in flying on dragons than being a queen to loser like VIserys.

Ryan Condal has a rather sophisticated way of expressing his thoughts. Explains all the sharp quality of dialogue in HOTD. Compare this to D & D, how they spoke in the interviews, it was painfully obvious that they just weren't up to the task.
