There's nicks in the edges of the bezel. I'd recommend rubbing the top edge of the bezel on a piece of fine wet dry sandpaper flat on the bench before setting the stone. Usually eliminates those imperfections.

It might do you some good to get a diamond lapidary cabbing machine, you can grind and polish silver on it too. It would even out that bezel and take the nicks out.
