This game suffered due to the complexity of the PS3 and Xbox 360. Treyarch should have gone with development on the PS2 instead. The lower number of Polygons means faster development. Heck, you could even reuse the city from Spider-Man 2, just add more depth into it. I remember when this game came out Circuit City gave people free copies of Spider-Man 2. That is how bad this game was. The more polygons in a game the more time it takes to make it. God Of War II was released on PS2 for this reason. Who knows how good this game would be if they had gone the PS2 route.

The game wasnt that bad. The problem was the story . It wasnt very nice and there were a lot of missed things . The cutscene and the npc intelligence wasnt the best but it was a good game .great job .
