What's interesting is Chris Trump says to pour back 2/3rd's before tincturing with vodka, but Drake says authentic KNF medicine is pouring back just 1/3rd and then tincturing with alcohol, both learned from Master Cho.

Over time you will start to make small adjustments. I have noticed that as well and I think they just learned from him at different times. I have talked with a brew master about what I am doing and he said only keep 1/3 and replace 2/3 with fresh to extract out as much as you can from it. It made sense to me. I think as long as you are following the general guidelines then things will turn out good.

@@WarGardensForVictory I've always made it the way Chris does it. But, 1/3rd might be stronger + extracting 5x. I might try 1/3rd next time.

Very cool on the Turmeric tincture, but definitely keep it as a separate input. You can try a separate concoction using it, but the original recipe from Master Cho definitely leaves it out, and even Drake asked him about it one time and he said no don't use it in the mix of others, but I am in agreement with you that something is better than nothing. Thank you I appreciate that. I talked to one grower and he told me all he does “sometimes” is do a garlic tincture mixed into either drip irrigation or with a foliar spray.

you ferment the wet ingredients as well with brown sugar... its incorrect to tell people that you add alcohol and tincture right away.
