From what I gather, the official research has yet to be published, some information has simply been leaked. Because of that, I can’t dive deeper into the claim that diagnosed Saurophaganax material is actually sauropod material. So, as it currently stands, Saurophaganax is still an Allosaurid theropod. At least, until the paper is published and we can get more information.
