I personally like all the colors 😊. I have to discipline myself to make several pairs of each of earrings as well at once so that I have enough in stock. Making handmade jewelry isn’t for the weak. It’s really tiring and taxing on the body, however, when you love doing it, it’s totally worth it. Great video! Keep up the good work! 😊

So glad you like them!! Thank you 🥰 Omg absolutely not something I want to do at the time but it’s so much worse to have to go back and realise how much work u still have because u only came up with new ideas but didn’t make any batches 😂 Oh it definitely isn’t and after almost 4 years my hands are definitely feeling it… Thanks so much for the support lovely!

I would suggest putting up a portable fan (battery-run) on the upper corner of your tent (if you use one). Or one of those neck cooling fans :)
@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
I have a portable fan! Unfortunately it doesn't do that much to help 😅 I don't know where you're based but here in Aus the sun literally sizzles you 😂 The neck cooling fan is a great idea I hadn't considered so thank you so much!

I don’t do well in the heat either. So I got USB chargeable wireless fans. They can last anywhere from 2-17 hours depending on the speed. That might help on those hot days for you.

I have a fan too! A really bit battery powered one but it’s still not enough for the Australian heat 🥵

Your earrings are so cute!!! Love the bows! Last year my husband and I suffered through a market and it was 101F but 90% humidity…and we both got heat sick…so absolutely take care of your health. But maybe a portable fan like someone else mentioned would help?
@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
Oh no that sounds insane 😱😱😱 was it worth going or did u wish u stayed home? We do have one! but it doesnt do much to be honest unless ur standing right in front of it, and were always moving around to serve customers so yeah we do bring it every time but I know we will still suffer...
@KneppwoodatHome9 ай бұрын
Honestly…it was so hot, the only busy booths were selling frozen drinks, lol. The rest of us suffered for not much profit. But that’s here in Oklahoma…your markets and customer base could be totally different. Definitely a tough decision.

Those are so cute! I was wondering if you would consider or maybe already did sell box of some of your jewelry like kind of like jewelry sets you had done this for one of your markets in a video from a while ago and I thought that was kind of neat and honestly I liked everything that you put in that box it, so was curious if that is something that you do or would consider doing in the future?

Thanks so much for your lovely comment! Yes I have tried box sets kind of things but unfortunately they haven’t worked out for me sales wise so far 😭

Love all the colours, they really compliment each other! Hope you don’t mind me asking but do you not sand them once baked as I noticed parts of the edges look abit rough?
@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much Sarah, so glad you like them 🥰 No I don't mind you asking at all! No, I don't actually sand my pieces, you're right! I guess it's not something ive mentioned in the vlogs before but it's something I talk about with my instagram community all the time! Not sanding was a choice I made early on, because of the amount of pieces I have to produce if I were to then sand the pieces it would take a lot longer to produce and therefore would increase the price of my pieces for my customers. My main goal is keeping prices affordable to my customers (now more than ever) so I try my best to keep them as neat as possible without sanding and no customer has ever mentioning not being happy with my products because of it 🥰 Its a win-win in my opinion!

Hi Vitoria sweetie, i pressume you've already had your market...cos i live in Vic too and our weather is different now, now its raining LOL But for future refrence, what i would do and used to do, when its super hot like that and you've paid for your booth. Go! set up and y will find that people come out early (if its a morning market) and then leave when it gets hotter, you can always pack up early and go home too! but atleast you get the customers that come early. 💜
@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
Haha yes, this was a few weeks back now, im a little behind in the vlogs 😅 That's a really good idea, did the organisers have issues with you leaving early? usually they don't like that but I suppose I could try! I just always think as a customer myself, if it were me and it was that hot I wouldn't go 😂 but I know that's not the case for everyone!
@HandmadebyDiana9 ай бұрын
@@lazy_daisycreations No, our organizers didnt have an issue with it. once you paid its was kind of up to you if you wanted to stay the full time or not. but i think that probably depends on the venue. ours was held every sunday so i guess it was a little layed back than most.
@Kobipup909 ай бұрын
id love to see some double layered colour combo bows so maybe the customer can pick two colours and the first colour is a smaller bow and the second colour a larger bow and there stacked on each other and still dangle a little , but then you could mix and match colours , i understand its alot more work , iv run a small etsy store and having to bring people items in every colour so they have choices can be really tedious keep up the great work

Living in Florida the summer months are brutal especially for outdoor markets. I had to start carrying a cooler with ice as rubbing it on pressure points helps to lower body temperature. Even using a fan doesn't help much as it's just hot air. They do have one that you can connect a hose into a bucket with water and it mist but I'm not about to carry a bucket to markets lol. I've seen some portable cold air cooler things that work like an AC but they're expensive. We use our tent walls and still it's hard to stay cool. The sun and heat then humidity that we get here in summer combined is horrid to be outdoors for long periods of time. Last year we had heat indexes 115 and up for a few weeks. Needless to say I did not do any markets unless it was in the night, and still it's hot and humid...plus mosquitoes depending on the venue. I guess in the end it really depends on how much you can handle heatwise to make the decision to go or not when it's super hot. I don't do well in the heat and almost blacked out once setting up at 3pm for a night market. That was the experience that made me start taking the cooler with ice. Good luck.

Damn what a horrible experience 😱😱😱 That’s exactly what I was trying to avoid! So many people are like “just take a fan” haha I don’t think they realise the seriousness of being in excruciating heat for 6-8 hours sometimes and you’re moving around to serve people and to set up and pack up so u don’t get to just sit in front of a fan in a chair just chilling 😂 the reality is that only if u’ve done it and experienced it yourself u know what it’s really like!
@pureanodyne9 ай бұрын
I did a market last summer and I think it was around 102 all day, it was miserable. There were no customers and it was also in a parking lot with black asphalt. I swore I would never do another outdoor market in heat like that ever again. I am pretty sure my crew and I had heat exhaustion by the end of the day, we were soo very sick by the time we got home. Worst experience ever. So even if you loose out on the money you'd make, your health and well being are so important.

Jesus that sounds like a horrible day and experience 😱😱😱 I’m so sorry you guys got sick from it, that’s exactly what I was thinking here… and I always go with my mum so I always have to think about her as well… and ur right sometimes the money is just not worth it

Can I ask what you use that you dust off the clay? I wanna try some jewelry for myself and bought some cutters for the project
@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
That's so exciting, hope your project goes well! the white powder is corn starch and I use it to prevent the clay getting stuck on the cutters! and I just use a fluffy paint brush to brush it off!

@lazy_daisycreations9 ай бұрын
Hi Christina! Polymer Clay earrings are delicate, but not fragile! (if made correctly) If conditioned and baked correctly, polymer clay has a bend to it making it really sturdy! The only issues my customers usually have Is if their dogs or kids get to them 😂
