Don't forget if you hate sales tax and live near Delaware I believe you can shop in person and Delaware has no sales taxes. After all the Qidi stuff, its good to see one consumer printer company going down UL cert pathways.

those continuous mixers are AMAZING. Having seen these in injection molding applications (which is pretty much the extruder you see but with a press attached) they make color corrections and even regrind consistency, if applicable, so nice. Such a massive upgrade for PS!

If spools are in short supply, maybe they could consider let us sending them spools. They could include return labels for them or something. I probably have 8 spools right now that haven't made it into the recycling bin yet. I have no idea if they actually get recycled or not.

I think they need more prusament lines. I would love to get a spool of PCCF for a rainy day and I used to buy my prusament from PS, but they are out of stock on so much of it that I feel like prusament isn't an option at the moment. I was hesitant about jessie before because in my mmu2 it failed more often than other filaments. However, I just mixed my jessie orange with petg in the mmu3 and holy crap not only did it work, the wipe tower is CLEAN as hell. When I mixed pla and petg before the wipe tower was a distaster. I'm actually convinced that PETG supports are now an option for me. This is something I discovered during the mk4s upgrade. As I didn't have any orange PETG for the LCD cover.
@3DMusketeers21 күн бұрын
starting with petg and pla right now, and they will go from there, it is a slow ramp up.
@awilliams170121 күн бұрын
@@3DMusketeers I think it's interesting how prusa is like we've doubled our lines. And they are out of stock on a lot of things even in their own store. Shows you how popular prusament is.

I'm curious to know if nightshade elixir compares to CC3D sapphire blue silk. It looks like it might be a tad dark. I've been printing for 2.5 years now. CC3D sapphire blue was my favorite filament before. It's STILL my favorite color now. I wanted something that looked like cobalt and I found it!! It's just absolutely gorgeous. My top 3 filaments by use case besides the sapphire blue (and the exact shade of these 3 doesn't matter to me too much) are silver silk, white silk, and black silk. I like to do a lot of metalic looking objects and those colors get used the most. I try to make sure that saphire blue gets in all my prints even if they aren't necessarily supposed to be blue. I have my enterprise model which is mostly white silk, but holy crap the saphire pops on it. So yeah.......I wouldn't mind switching to elixor from CC3D, but to get me 100% on board they would have to have sapphire blue that closely matches the CC3D version. It's like the perfect shade for what I was looking for (which ironically 2.5 years later I haven't printed yet).
@awilliams170121 күн бұрын
well that answers the question of "did they fully upgrade the jessie lines to be prusa lines as well?" I guess not.

@willofthemaker21 күн бұрын
I'd love to get ABS from them, especially if they can maintain the $20/kg price. I currently get mine from push plastic, als made in USA. Great stuff. Been buying from them for years but 50% more moneys. Printed solid and push plastic are where I get all my filament from
