Making Rounded Text in Aspire or VCarve Pro

Just stumbled over this and will hazard an attempt at getting your attention from a 5 yr old upload :-) One little question I had: How did you manage to get the bit outline into your library? Perhaps you borrowed the tool def from some other maker is a guess. I was going to use Fusion 360 to create DXF files, but is no longer possible. Seasons greetings too you and yours, C

Chris, you can create your own tool bit profiles and definitions inside VCarve Pro. Perhaps I will do a video to show you how.

Can a different font be added to the fonts already in Vcarve Pro? I am looking to use the Hebrew Modern font.

Yes you can add True Type fonts to the software by adding it to your windows font directory.

How do I get the profile for the Plunge Roundover bit? My aspire does not have it pre-loaded

I drew the profile inside the software and created a tool bit. You can create your own bit profiles.

Rather than offsetting the bit, couldn't you have just set up the the toolpath to be on the vector?

+LC W There are many different ways to skin this cat. I like my method but depending on the geometry you could do it that way.

+Tinca Merida I create the preview image in Aspire for the tool path. Then I double click the material that was excess. This makes it disappear.
