In the video it is stated to dry under 140F or else the active ingredient is “killed”. The main psychoactive molecule is muscimol and cannot be killed since not alive, and the temperature at which it would be destroyed is very far above 140F since the melting point (temperature it turns from solid to liquid) is 363F. The highest drying temperature before potency degradation is 176F, due to any higher temperatures causing the water in the mushroom to evaporate too fast and expel ibotenic acid and muscimol with it. In addition, A. muscaria mycelium grows at a rate of 1 centimeter per month and cannot be grown into a liquid culture; when people are doing this they are inadvertently growing a different non-Amanita fungus. It has also been proven with mass spectrometry that the mycelium does not contain ibotenic acid or muscimol and is totally non-active. The grape juice method is totally bunk.

The mushroom is alive, heating above 120 will kill the spores that one is trying to propagate in the juice. Whist it is true that Muscimol will not degrade at this temp, we are not extracting muscimol here, we are trying to make it through mycelium growing on the juice. Live spores are needed for this
@jacobkavinsky1813
@jacobkavinsky1813 3 ай бұрын
@@pdfbrander the mushroom only makes ibotenic acid and muscimol when its in a mycorrhizal relationship with trees it grows extremely slowly without the presence of the trees and the mycelium doesnt have any ibotenic acid and muscimol in it only the fruiting body of the mycelium aka the mushroom so this grape juice method even if it did work it would only have mycelium in the juice so there would be no active compounds

A rock was cast for selfish reasons. Fermentation is inhibited by pasteurisation. Relax, let nature do its thing, the mycelium will grow rapidly before other less available spores. Your “experience” was rich with magic. This is a mystical journey, not bound by perspective. This pushed you past your expectations and illustrated that there is more to life than you can know or measure by your history. It asked you to sit on a step and have another look. So special what happened and how you shared it, keep going, go back in. Much love.

Great video Brother! I like the fact that you take the process really seriously because, like you said, it's an ancient process to help mankind to connect with the divine. For those interested, there is an excellent book (recommanded by Santos Bonacci) called Astrotheology and Shamanism. There is a great deal of information about the links between mushrooms, religions and spirituality. You said you don't think there is a great power trying to make us avoid mushrooms. On that point, I disagree. I know, and it will become extremely obvious in the weeks and months to come, that those who were in power (pure evil by the way) did everything to keep us away from God. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sharing your adventures with this 🍄. A couple thoughts. From my understanding, the first part of your experience was more from the effects of the ibotanic acid and once things shifted that was the muscumal taking over :) If that was the case you probably did a partial decarb - which worked great since you did not get sick. From looking at Amanita Dreamer’s info I gleaned that the idea that Ibotanic Acid is a neurotoxin in la conclusion arrived at based on findings of non human studies where the compound was injected right into the veins, not orally… anyways, great vid, keep it up!

There are other types of soma made with psilocybin mushrooms, cannabis, etc... There is also a sun tea type recipe for the amanitas. Also seen people put them in different types of alcohol. The Eastern varieties (august-early September) and pantherina spp. do seem to be more potent. Pantherina is kinda dangerous due to hybridization. It seems to hybridize Gemmata which can subsequently hybridize with nervosa spp., creating a pinkish panther looking mushroom. True panthers are easy to identify with a little practice. I'm thinking that the contamination came from the mushroom caps he ground down , if you want a clean culture , should drop the spores on a 🧫 petri dish , let it grow clean , then inoculate in your Pasturized juice. Those mushroom samples carry other things on them . But what I woulda done and was thinking he woulda done first was take a fresh tissue sample from inside the mushroom cap then grow out a clean culture , then inoculate . Or just added the cleanest inner part of the fresh mushroom tissue straight to Pasturized juices. The inside meat that hasnt been exsposed to outside it's pretty sterile.

I found a bunch of amanita formosa or what looked like it (yellow with orangish centre, white dots, skirt, big bulb vulva) in a pine forest this fall in Ontario, not sure I would want to try the sacred wine cause I heard from paul Stamets on a Joe Rogan podcast that muscimol can cause some very intense effects and potentially dangerous repeating actions and sleep hypothermia. But then again I think he ate it and did not drink the sacred wine. Also Believing in It's power could maybe help. Definitely sounds interesting to try but I have to still do alot of research.

I wouldn’t assume muscimol doesn’t partially degrade or vaporize depending on temperature. Boiling point and melting point are not always discrete temperatures celcius. There are probably charts on this, and sometimes things degrade variably. Exceeding guideline temperatures may degrade although provide some muscimol but less, making preparation unreliable in how much it from ibotenic muscimol total amount to less total. It’s variable for many things. Decarboxylation should only usually be done at just above the minimum temperature required for decarboxylation. Please don’t anyone on here do what I did and tried to boil a amanitas panther in boiling water and make a paste. . And yellow pigment plants are supportive of digestion of angers etc. NAC or n-acetylcysteine is great for glutamate excitotoxicity caused by amanitas improperly prepared or raw. I’d still dry them out like in Eurasia or wherever in front of a fire. A heating pad and a plate with a glass lid would be great. I ate brown panther extract of not even maybe half of one med large cap over two weeks and ended up with ankle level spiritual possession in my ankles. Amanitas are some of the most likely to lead to spiritual possession. Yellow maybe less so because yellow spiritual body helps burn up experiences in terms of fire sight also related to fire, and digestion. This part is backed by Hindu knowledge. …. I would only consume it with mullein. Mullein helps excrete out spirits even from others spiritual bodies. Good for excretion. I think these yellow amanitas are safest for overcoming angers. Start small and do not take frequently due to effects on glutamate and muscarinic system. Tobacco and salal leaves are good for muscarinic flight or fight that brown amanitas makes bad. I think they’re better to look at. Has powerful meditative properties. Maybe red and yellow amanita mix would be safer. Heed dosage warnings, maybe try small fully crispy dried form (and perhaps pulverized and thus exposed to air and left to dry… so can oxidize) but perhaps is best to follow guidelines of this video and this book he mentioned. I’m happy to see someone who doesn’t appear to have heavy body toxicity from amanitas posting an informative video on them and their usage. And I would definitely smudge, but mullein included, and mullein in tea or amanita. Interesting looking mushrooms, safe times please. It took me a few years of being unable to relax and only after consuming n-acetylcysteine to calm the glutamate system receptors down, and taurine to up gaba to make body more harmonious. Had immense spirit problems was meditating before this, spiritual consciousness fell greatly. Be weary of brown amanitas completely unless perhaps have prior experience with yellow red ones. Not sure if they’re meant to be ingested ever. Yeah brown ankle chakra energy or ankle brown part of spiritual body resonant with animal consciousness… and punching car door from inside out of frustration. Consume only in nature or comfortable environment. Red resonant with family, if poisoned may have bad family, excess focus on angers afterwards in terms of not being for body to calm down, red chakra and subtle bodies, which resonate not just with part of the body but parts of the entire body. Yellow resonates with memories, ego, youth etc. If abused ages 0-3 avoid red, take yellow, if abused take yellow, could be upset though for months, especially if aggregated or prior karmas or deeds or experiences of aggravations. Yellow also resonant with actions… and memories but should facilitate digestion of memories, by seeing. Bright yellow painted calcite make for quicker digestion, same with calcite crystal geometry. If fragmented spiritual bodies, aragonite crystal geometry of circumference face… help especially if yellow… digest because of yellow but release emotions before reintegration which usually then leads to functioning. And then digestion. So yes, yellow amanita I think is safer. Yellow will help overburdened soul digest experiences And condition that has made you overburdened. I recommend color rimmed glasses usage one month before consuming amanitas. Amanita Mushroom of specific-type interested in consuming-color. That’ll give you An idea. And become more understanding of how part of it will affect your self. My two cents. Thanks for your time.

Do you think North American variant mushrooms have diverged slightly from European variant mushrooms because they are continents apart now? Do you think at one point they were the exactly the same? Is it like with fossil record where you can trace them back to similar areas of Pangea or did they independently co-evolve on separate continents? Or is it the naturally occurring compounds in the soil that causes these differences?

Yes, this is called speciation. When 2 populations of the same species become geographically or otherwise isolated, they begin to adapt, and if this adaptation continues enough that genetic drift takes palce,, you can have a new cuktivar or even a new species. Looking at phenotypic differences between individuals is a place to start understanding this. If you select certain traits long enough, you can probably create a different species than jts ancestors... evolution. Although mother nature does this best.

For a liquid culture you should do it without drying them. The heat would kill the spores. I don't know if amanita will even grow in liquid culture. And Ive never heard of anyone drinking a liquid culture. Or doing one in grape juice. Also the word "wine" in ancient times didn't mean fermented grape juice. It was a blanket term for a lot of different mixtures. I think there may be some confusion with this idea. The "flesh" is the dried mushroom. The "blood" would be the juice of the mushroom. Made from dried mushrooms and water, as well as other possible ingredients. And it would be red like blood from the pigment in the mushroom... The wine and cracker is just an imitation placebo. A metaphor. And as far as converting the acid to muscimol, all you have to do is dry them slowly. You can do it in a regular oven on 170. This will not harm the alkaloids. I've done it many times. No need to over complicate or make it seem like some crazy process. I put mine right on the oven rack with baking sheet on the next lower rack to catch the drips. I keep a close eye on them to make sure they don't burn. I flip them a couple times. And I prop the oven door open to let the moisture out. Piece of cake. Lol

I also found this to be disproven. After trying this method about 4 times with no success, even taking clean cultures of Amanita Muscaria & Amanita Pantherina to agar then to the pasteurized juice….I had connected with a couple people from the Ambrosia Society forum because it appeared the Ambrosia Society seemed dead? Anyhow basically from a couple guys I did get information from said the fleece was tested and turned out to be not Amanita mycelium but instead was found to be some bacteria or something. I believe sometimes you could get it on the Amanita and other times it might not be there. Regardless to however many sterile techniques you take the powdered Amanita will still have contamination on it just from being in its natural environment. One theory is this substance may just be a common mycorrhiza type bacteria that with sometimes be present and others not. Eventually I lost interest due to the lack of information and potential risk factors, seemed like it caused liver pain to the few I know that had a couple fleece cultures. The one guy ended up figuring our some sort of bread technique that he preferred. As much as I want to find that Amanita trip, psilocybin delivers and is always safe

It could all be a placebo. You said with no faith in it it might not work. That's definitely how it is. You have to put a degree of faith in it. That's just as in anything. It is a empowering feeling, energizing, but im afraid it could strengthen my ego or ruin it to an extent. It depends on your intention I guess. Its probably not the eucharist, its a catalyst for healing/visions. Its something that might have something to do with ancient religions, but its probably not what they think it is.

They decarb by just drying them. What you need to do is a gas chromatograph of your tincture and figure out what you are ingesting. You could do a before and after as well to see what changes occur. There are rumors that muscimol causes Lesions in the brain. You could do some brain scans as well to see if this is in fact taking place...Once you get the message, hang up the phone..

Spelling Fahrenheit correctly would have given me a little more confidence in your skills. I also ask you how you pronounce MUSCLE then try to pronounce muscimol after you look at that. You were not dealing with details about dosage in a way that would be considered safe. Take the video down and make the corrections or you are being a little irresponsible. You did a good job warning, people that was a good idea. You also did well explaining how important it is to convert the ibotenic acid, which is extremely important. However, since it is such a very serious matter, if done wrong it can make you very ill and/or kill you, I think you need to step it up several levels before you venture into extending it outwards to the general population, they are reckless, careless, and prone to error. Be careful!

Hi, I've been collecting A. muscaria variation guessowii for around 5 years throughout the Midwest and northeast portion of the U.S. Currently living in Maine. Inspired by Hamilton Morris, I started making a tincture out of the mushrooms. Something piqued my interest recently that I have never heard before. Account to multiple sources, in 1897 Count Achilles de Vecchj died in the U.S. after he and a friend allegedly ate dozens of "red and white mushrooms". His friend was hospitalized and survived. My initial thought to this story is that there are no red and white A. muscaria in the U.S. Do you know of any other mushrooms in North America that may fit that red and white mushroom? My initial thought was Russula sp. But are those even especially toxic?
@justindobro
@justindobro 3 жыл бұрын
There may be some rare red and white A. muscarias in some parts of the eastern US, but most are the yellow guessowiis, which is also what we have here in Nova Scotia. To answer your question about the Russulas - I have several varieties on my property, some are edible but there is a red and white one, Russula Emetica, which is poisonous. I'm not sure how toxic exactly, but if he ate dozens...

I actually have seen some pictures of red and white A. muscaria from west coast U.S. and Canada as well as A. pantherina, I've just never seen them between Massachusetts (where the Count served in the U.S. military) and Washington D.C. where the Count was buried.
