Predicting inflation starting to rise again this quarter while leading indicators showing economy slowing (not to mention governm*nt figures pumped up for the election). Global economy very weak which affects US. Fed dropping rates 0.50 shows they're VERY worried about financial downturn/crisis. interest rates coming down are also an indication banks are LESS willing to loan money into existence. The question here is where is the inflation going to come from in the near term? Consumers are mostly tapped out which is 70% of US economy (consumption). Yes inflation very likely to return but not before it continues to come down... Inflation can be a concern, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 3.2 B'tc to a decent 27B'tc in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Alison Bruce Crypto, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Regarding Grant's comments around 42:00 minutes in, that the stock price is the company and that capital isn't being allocated properly, I keep waiting for reality to hit. The form of reality hitting is actual physical shortages of necessities (food, shelter, water, energy, and devices that make modern life possible such as certain metals, certain semiconductors) due to malinvestment or lack of investment. I wish someone could give some insight as to if and when this could/would happen. I will also disagree with Hunt's comment at 49:40 that 6% to 8% interest rates would break the system. I guess that they could but the Fed would never allow them to get that high and would start more purchases on Treasuries. Suppressing interest rates would increase inflation and could lead to physical shortages of necessities either through a sudden calamity or unaffordability.

Ben, you stated "we are going down into a period of time thats no fun". Are you stipulating that the last 4 years were fun, because they weren't for me, and for a lot of other people also. No details are needed, just have an objective view of what has just transpired!

😂 Ben doing mental gymnastics in the opening to justify why he was wrong on the election. - No one under 60 watches/believes mainstream media anything - Dems should’ve held a primary instead of appointing Harris as the nominee - Blaming generic white people for the outcome ignores the complete demographic shift This glaring logical discrepancy call into question the understanding of our complex global macroeconomic system. Ben’s personal dislike of Trump (understandable) has blinded him from the objective reality of the current state of the population and just how poor of a candidate Harris was (just like Clinton in 2016).
@HepCatJack
@HepCatJack Ай бұрын
The reason that they went for Harris was that the Biden / Harris ticket had already accumulated hundreds of millions in donations which they would not have been able to use with anyone other than Harris. There was a primary challenger against Biden but Biden got 80% of the vote. The people who pressured Biden to desist likely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. As for a poor candidate, the GOP put a convicted felon who was known to have gone to Epstein's island. it's clear that a lot of low cognitive capabilities were lied to and manipulated. One of the top trends on Google for the US is: "How do I change my vote" . Warren Buffett said: If you can’t spot the sucker in the first twenty minutes, then it’s you.”

I think Ben Hunts personal dislike for Trump has colored his thinking. Does he get his information from MSNBC? I had expected a more rational & data based balanced analysis, not “Harris had big crowds on TV”. I love Grants way of looking at the world, we need more true investors and fewer speculators.

I watched a while but bailed because the show never got to anything about markets. I really could care less who these guys thought would win and why. All I learned is Grant has no idea what a landslide victory is. This one wasn't close to a landslide as anyone with any knowledge of history would know. In any case, Excess Returns didn't respect our time with this show.
