walmart usually has soda ash in a big yellow arm and hammer box in their detergent isle.

I have read this also. I am wondering if it's true. Have either of you tried this method?? I need soda ash to do a load of laundry stripping. I have some articles of clothing that have nicotine stains and someone suggested that I strip a load of these clothes. I've already tried the vinegar soak, but there's still a little nicotine staining.
