As I’m also soapcrafter, I’m always curious to try other crafters’ products. Yours smell absolutely DIVINE, and I can’t wait to try them! Hugs and love from Texas!

🌺Ariane , your my inspiration! I love watching all your soap making and bath bombs videos. I started doing soap making about 1 month ago, after watching you on KZbin 3 months ago, I started doing a lot of researching, reading on soap making and watching lots of tutorial videos on KZbin, you have inspired me to make my own soaps and I’m having so much fun. Your such a talented soap maker! Can’t wait to try the bath bombs. I have made over 100 bars so far, six different scents and styles. I’m thinking about selling them at our local Artisan Craft Fair. 😊

Thank you so much for the tip about soda ash! I soap at room temp, use a water discount, spray with running alcohol And gel and still get soda ash. I didn't realize pouring at a thin trace can also cause ash. I'll try medium trace next time

Hi Ariane! First of all your videos are so soothing. You radiate and your energy exudes peace and strength. Watching you is so unbelievably fascinating and inspiring. You used less than 1% of essential oils for baby soap, I see. What percentage do you typically use? I know it varies depending on manufacturers as well as type of essential oil. I order most of my essential oils at New Direction Aromatics. Typically I use them at 4-5% weight of total weight of the soap (of course there are EOs that I use at a much lower percentage such as cinnamon, Clove etc). Just curious as to where you stand. Do you softly scent your soaps or do you make them with a strong scent?
@ArianeArsenault6 жыл бұрын
Grace Burbridge I follow IFRA guidelines when using essential oils. There are maximum usage rates for each essential oil out there and some are even prohibited in cosmetics. Essential oils, when used incorrectly, can be irritating, phototoxic or cause undesirable skin reactions. Always be cautious with them
