I like the new format. It's really informative to be able to see everything up close. It's great how you take the time to explain and show yourself doing the work. Thank you!

Love the new style of video; really fascinating getting to actually watch you work on something :) one thing I'd say; careful of how sharp your audio cuts are; some word endings are being lost which makes it a bit choppy :) but that is a TINY thing and a supportive positive comment :) love it, and loving having you back on KZbin :) And Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year to you and yours :)

Thanks! There was a problem when I was editing and several clips got shifted a frame or two and I couldn't easily fix them. It was baffling. I fixed a couple and said forget it for the rest. Super frustrating. So, don't expect it to be repeated. If it happens again then I'll HAVE to go and figure out why it happened and how to fix it. For any others in the know on Premiere Pro 2018 who read this: Issue appears in multi-cam sequence, but not in all multicam sequences - I had 2 multicam sequences total from 4 original sequences. Clips have handles but can't expand or ripple edit them beyond cut -- trimming them backwards works fine. "Trim blocked on video 1" despite there being more footage (obvious from cut in dialogue) and showing handles on both blocked clip and next clip. *shrug* Clips were moved forward a few frames and it seems to have happened when inserting media in timeline (can't remember for sure). Not sure why that was happening either? I didn't notice it since the move was so slight and it appears to have moved all the clips that were forward of insert point. I only discovered it on playback much later. How the hell that was happening I can't even begin to guess... Only correction I could figure out was to add original clip to multicam sequence: extract blocked clip, trim original clip and insert original footage. Very time consuming for a dozen+ instances. Especially since I also had a small problem with the timecodes on the original footage sequences. Timecode in transparent layer for original footage sequences shows drift from actual time in timeline despite showing zero at start of timeline. Seems to be running fast as discrepancy increases along timeline. i.e. at 0;05;00 timecode reads 0;05;11, at 12;14;13 shows 12;16;08 and so on. This did not show in all sequences. (preferences: media: timecode start at 0, in transparent layer: timecode source - generate) I've not seen these problems before and haven't updated to v. 2019 yet. *rolls eyes* Needless to say I spent too much time just trying to figure out what was going on, and enough time trying to fix the clips that were that blocked, that I gave up. Hmm. Thinking more, perhaps I could nest multicam footage and make cuts in nest? I make all camera camera angle changes and extraction of unneeded footage before beginning adding annotations, music, inserting hold frames, etc. Not sure that will work though as I haven't worked with nests very much, yet... *aside - I should post all of this on a forum since I just spent the time to write it up. ;)

@@Terranscapes Thank you very much for taking the time to respond in such depth :) As I say it did very little to distract me at all - even if you cannot fix that issue i'd say stick with the new method as it is really cool to see you working; very inspiring that you use some of the same tools as I have in my modeling area. One day maybe I'll make use of my tools to be even 1/10 as good as you :) Thanks again man!

I would mold a set in plat silicone.. Just so i could cast them for later projects easily.

Interesting idea. Making a two sided mold for them would be a little time consuming. Besides, I would want to make new ones because they would be better the second time around. :) But I don't expect to need them again in the foreseeable future.

Have you heard of a product called Komacel? I just found out about it recently myself while watching another youtuber craft a Dodge vehicle with that and styrene. It looks like it would be great for parts that need to be thicker much like your rims. Looks like you would be able to draw a circle on it then scribe the part out. If interested take a look at his video and how he uses it. While not the exact same hobby there is some crossover and I myself learnt a lot from watching it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKi2epp6gNuAfs0

Interesting video. I love the chapter guide. No voice over though. :( And comments disabled? But as an eccentric, I'm ok with it. :) I actually have a material like that on hand. It's expanded polystyrene. It's very cool material but I just haven't used it. But seeing him heat it on an iron to soften it for bending... Well, thats a whole new ballpark! Thanks for sending me the link!
