The problem with extreme power creep is that it COMPLETELY invalidates any progress you've made prior. The only thing that matters is the level of your current teams. They might as well delete 85% of the roster, since it doesn't matter for any mode anymore. They're just dead/trap characters for new players to waste resources on.

The reworked stats are only crazy because they need it to even stand a chance against the kits of the brand new characters. I honestly love the fact older characters become useful again. DBZ Dokkan does a similar thing with awakening old units

I do like how I’ve been able to use Ultimus and LDS especially. Scientist supreme is good too but she’s just a support character really ( still good though)

Annialators was one of the biggest flops for a team in a long while. F2p mostly don't have them all, and we're already on the next team. For whales and Krackens, Arena is a mostly dead Game mode, especially with no reason to push hard with the payout changes. They were a nuisance in week 1 of CC, but I'm sure good counters will be out soon. War, idk. We struggle with them, but we're not a War alliance...maybe it's different for the.m

It is funny how much Silver Surfer is bashed, but outside of the arena, I am finding tons of value with him and his reworked stats.

Has anybody addressed the addition of First, Second, and now Third S.T.R.I.K.E. Milestones for new players? New players getting Gor, Gladiator, and Thanos Endgame for simply doing Crucible and other normal daily stuff. Starting a new account now gets you Xtreme, Spider Society, Illuminati, Mercs for Money (minus OML), the Annihilators ....you get the idea. But no saving of cores or running mathematical events, just log in and do the dailies.

Yeah, my acc is what... 1,5 months old and i got all the teams above minus the annihilators, alpha flight and cabal... so my guess is in 2 to 3 months new acc's will get the new raid teams in this "strike events"... pretty good for new player

@@Raniel_RSG598 I like to every 3 or 4 months start a new one, not play it to end, just to see what they offer new players. In the history of MSF they have never put together a package like this for new players. This new account is 61, played for 22 days, and I am only lacking the time, not effort to get Gor, Gladiator, AND Thanos Endgame. The ones I painfully opened orb after orb after orb to only see 1 shard on my main. I may keep this one.

Not just that but the annihilators are unlocked at level 60 with skills leveled and level 4 iso green

Annihilators are the first team that are so complex and bugged that people can’t really even figure out what or why?Thanos passive does every random damage. One time it does nothing, the next time it wipes your team down to half health. Mephisto first contract counters Gladiator as it takes him to around 50% health. They had to know what they were doing here and how easily the team would be countered even without your own Annihilators team.

I think it’s a bigger jump for raid characters cause they will be around for a long time in raid use. Would be interesting to see the jump for the next non raid character

I think they really need to make thanos endgames ultimate unavoidable and gorr really needs more damage they dont feel that great compared to gladiator

I think it remains to be seen still. But the Annihilators have been great for me in all game modes thus far. Even Silver Surfer is useful in plug n play areas. But Annihilators are beating up on old teams mostly still. We’ll see how this holds up as more teams come out in this era.

So if Orchis is better than the Annihilators stats reworks, then you're telling me Moonknight and Agatha are going to be huuuuge. Blade's stats are probably going to be insane. Given that he is a fan favourite

I mean that's just speculation based on limited data, but we can see that so far the Orchis patch has total stats about 10-20% higher than Annihilators lol.

I do think these new characters are balanced around being 7 red stars, maxed out gear and ISO, which f2p won't get for 6+ months. I also think that the reason the new Annihilators and Ares might feel subpar is because they're fun killing characters. Their kits are designed to make other people's kits not work, they aren't designed to be fun themselves.

I feel that while the stat bonuses are nice, less complexity to kits means less skill required to use the teams or more rather less strategy. Also personally the lack of negative and positive effects from the anihilators makes them feel weaker then they should be (especially gorr).

There is a lot of feedback regarding Gorr and Thanos, though people seem satisfied enough with Gladiator lol

I think the problem is that they want these newer characters to be viable and not get one shotted immediately while at lower star levels (3-4 stars) but on the flip side these same characters push the power ceiling even higher once you get them fully stared, ISOed, Diamond out etc. My Thanos endgame is only G18 4y4r is is already close to 500k power and is creeping up on characters who I have diamonds on and G19 gear on

I think it will be all new reworks that come with the new teams that increase past characters to catch up to the major power creep of these new characters and stats because if they don’t previous meta teams will become obsolete faster than the before

On the other hand, a lot of people (at least as far as the CC are concerned) have been asking for simpler kits, because it was becoming ridiculous, with 10 lines Ultimate or Passive...

I personally don't like the simplicity 🤷 tinfoil hat this will be a way for them to justify lackluster reworks. The only difference in stat 3.0 that I've noticed was the tankyness.

I've said it since they announced the stat increases, we don't need growing stats it just kills older units faster. Some survive but most will die to irrelivence. I just think stats need to be set at a level and not go drastically above then make everything else about the kits

Well there’s two options really I think : either they keep stat creeping, or they do what we have now but have to go back to more complicated kits to make them better lol. Creep is inevitable it’s just how they do it I think

Power creep isn't linear it is exponential and to a high degree. The current raid toons at 7y7r plus diamonds get power crept by the new raids. Yeah there is some kit issues too but the stats are still big as well, so we can't just keep building current teams to an insane level and power through. So the next wave of toons must power creep enemies that have power crept current teams and they must do it at a much lower rank given how much easier it is to get rs and diamonds on older toons and new unlocks are 3y and a trickle of shards coming in after that. Assuming you get the unlock in the first place.

honestly no stats aren't everything, the kits became complicated because scopely had to counter specific characters like Agatha with eternals, I enjoyed complicated kits because you always learning the best way to use them, also I don't trust scopely I think they will be lazy and the new power leap will have weaker characters

I use to play raid shadow legends, and in that game, you would have to prioritize building stats over the kids of each character. I think MSF is putting stats on easily farmable characters is a plus. I tire of seeing the same opposing characters in arena. It bores me. I'd rather see a complexity of challenges where high hp stats opponents may need a different approach like more bleeders to take them down.

well gladiator is fine because we don't expect him to do anything, he is the tank and he has got huge health, armour, resistance and he tanks very well. but does he do dmg? special is okay dmg but ult just tickles people. And gorr even with all the extra focus still struggles to strip charges off black knight especially because people have 2-3 diamond bk. and thanos is definitely weird, I don't know what to think. They are all just - "meh" Personally I think the kits being so simple for a game this old is the problem. because really old characters have simple kits, like lets take elektra or bullseye. do you think giving them the new stats will make them meta? like all of a sudden elektra will one shot a captain britain?? impossible, right? or do you think a complete rework to their kits will be better?

Annilators are so overrated upon release compared to SD they are so insane on all game modes even beating war teams and CC but when it comes to annilators it's a meh they do need the stars, I feel like the long text character was more OP then this type of stat base characters

I have absolutely noticed it on LDS. I have both my alt and main account with diff power LDS in Orchis Raid. Sci Supreme is a kit character though so unless you're running Striker lol I'm not sure where you'd notice her damage. But she does survive well!
