Teochew Fish Porridge
Ingredients:
½ cup of pre-cooked rice
2 Chinese Pomfret, approx. 150g for each (cut into chunks, season with salt and white pepper)
1-2 tablespoons of anchovies, put into a teabag
1-2 tablespoons of julienned ginger (keep some for garnishing)
1 tablespoon of fresh coriander’s root and stem, chopped
1 bowl of hot water
A good amount of dong choy (preserved cabbage)
Seasonings:
Pinch of salt
Few drops of Ong Ky premium fish sauce
Garnishing:
Fresh corianders
Fried garlics
Julienned gingers
White pepper
