I am impressed with how you used the bare minimum tools and supplies to make a great looking piece of terrain! I think this is a great tutorial and I look forward to your next ones.

Thank you, I tried to take the bare minimum to it's extremes in this one and I honestly think it would make a great table with multiple on there. Thank you very kindly :)

Great video, and I'm really glad to see people just using cardboard, because finding XPS foam or foamboard where I live is an absolute nightmare. Only one thing to say: It would be amazing if we could see a longer shot of the finished piece at the end of the video!
@TerrainMadeEasy3 жыл бұрын
Hey, and thank you, that's why I mix up materials. But the reason the end shots are shot, is because people were clicking off the video when they started, so I am basically trying to help myself on youtube! Not a great answer but the truth :)

The production is only getting better, sir! The idea to use filler and paint mix on the corrugation is so obviously good that I can’t believe I haven’t thought of it on my own before now.
@TerrainMadeEasy3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, it's sort of funny I am trying to make higher quality videos of the cheapest terrain you can possibly make! An alternative to filler would be pva and sand, but I haven't actually done that and don't think I would like the texture. Thanks :)

It’s very satisfying to make my D&D terrain from things lying around the house. My wife and her family are kind enough to save me unusual boxes and packaging. This is a really nice piece. Thanks for sharing it with us. Keep the great clips coming!

Using the glue stick and super glue really showed your dedication to the concept of free. You could dress these up with brick rubble made from cut up sprues. Also free!
@TerrainMadeEasy3 жыл бұрын
I don't want to clickbait or anything so had to follow through on the idea! Sprue and stuff would make great rubble :) Thanks.

@@TerrainMadeEasy Well, I think you could have possibly sneaked in some PVA without that leading to too many accusations. Haha.

@@edevans5991 hehe I try to be a man of my word when possible and honestly some people still thought I misled a little. I do think next time I will use PVA etc and just refer people back to this.

I’m currently building one but I don’t have any filler Anything you recommend as a substitute
@TerrainMadeEasy3 жыл бұрын
I think you can use pva and sand. But any kind of like gap filling putty would be okay, joint compound, or anything, mayve even thick plaster of paris.
@thenickgross14853 жыл бұрын
Thanks and I ended up finding both Pva and some Spackle. I had to use hot glue though, on a scale of 1-10 how painful was the superglue. Love you’re vids btw.

@@TerrainMadeEasy I'm unemployed so time is the one thing I have plenty of, haha.
