Hey Maggie! I am just loving watching you create with the laces & crochet! ❤️ I find your voice and manner very calming. I found myself saying no no or yes yes as you were deciding which piece to use & how to position it 😂. I love how this book is turning out & can't wait to see the embellishments! Part 3 showed up in my feed tonight so I actually watched 3, then 1 & 2. You are inspiring me to do one of these!

What a smart idea the little spatula to pat with - that way you don't burn your fingers!! LOL! I love hearing your thought process. Such beautiful work with lace and crochet pieces....I've been meaning to watch this forever and I finally did it! LOL! HUGS!

OK every fabric is out and ready to complete this part of the tutorial. You Miss Maggie are the queen of glue guns! I have the exact same model, it will take alot of practice with it! Yes I follow tutorials as I go, on the TV so I can pause as I go. I have some great scrapbook albums doing it this way. No talent on my part needed, just a great teacher like you! Thanks again, looking forward to doing the doily book the same way once I get this done!

Do you tea dye any lace that you use for the pages, or is that the natural lace patina? This series is really helpful for me. I have no idea how to approach making a fabric book, let alone a lace book. So happy you are doing this series of videos. The more detail you provide on how to do the pages would be so appreciated. Thank you, Maggie!❤

Oh, thank you. I didn't tea dye, it's natural patina.

I must change my question. What is the age on Vintage laces. 24 or 50 years? Or is there a time limit? Thank you
@MaggieWhite
@MaggieWhite Жыл бұрын
As far as laces go anything over 20 years is considered vintage. I was incorrect when I said 50 years.

I asked this last time and you did not reply - so I ask again. Maggie, what makes a lace vintage vs. antique? Or is there no difference. over 50 years or 100? Thank you
@MaggieWhite
@MaggieWhite Жыл бұрын
Anything 50 years are over is considered vintage and anything 100 years or older is considered antique. At least that’s to my knowledge.

Actually for some reason Etsy considers over 20 years vintage. Idk why as I always had the same time frame you did.
