Making the BEST of our MSC CRUISE - Port Canaveral to Nassau! Ep.2

In this episode we visit the ports of #portcanaveral and #nassau while taking a break from some rude people onboard #mscmeraviglia.
We didn't let a few rude people ruin our next two days on board as we experience more unique features about this ship, including the flight and roller coaster simulator. and venues like the Sky Lounge.
Wil "balanced" his way across the ropes course just in time to take a stroll around Nassau, Bahamas.
Onboard, we check out more production shows in the main theatre which included comedian Ken Boyd.

We tried the Meraviglia last year. The ship is beautiful, you are correct about the rude group of people. They cut lines they bump into you and don't say a word. We decided to give it another shot since the price was so low. We are going in November. I hope the ratio of the rude people is lower this time.

I hope so too! That’s the balance with this cruise line… The competitive prices still make it a consideration, despite some shortcomings!

Ich denke nicht...wir waren gerade da...einfach nur schlimm..wer da alles mitfährt...sowas hab ich auf keinem anderen Schiff erlebt...wir konnten kaum schlafen so laut waren die Nachbaren...unternommen hat keiner was...der Großteil ohne Respekt und anstand...

I don’t know what your problem is with the buffet. I was on the ship in January had no problem with the buffet. If you go all the way to the back, they will always tables there with a smaller buffet back there. I love the ship so much I’m going on in August October and December.

Glad you enjoyed and had great experiences but unfortunately every sailing and everyone’s experience is different, this is just ours on this sailing (and we weren’t alone). As we showed, we did find tables at quieter times which was a welcomed change! Enjoy your upcoming cruises! 🚢

Greetings from Brooklyn New York, recently I was on that same ship on a 7 day cruise to Canada and my girlfriend and myself also noticed how rude some people were on that cruise, we would stand on line in the buffet restaurant and people would just get in front of us to get food without even saying excuse me and as we would try to get off the elevator people would just rush in without giving you a chance to get off!

At 14:10 that’s my daughter and I 😊 This was our first cruise. We had a fairly good time. Unfortunately she got sick with a 103 fever after Nassau. So we spent the next two days in the cabin, we missed Ocean Cay. The staff was absolutely amazing though. My daughter has severe food allergies. Our head waiter Uma had all of our meals sent to our cabin since she couldn’t leave. Our cabin steward Jayson made her extra towel animals. We’re going back again in November for a “re-do” lol. The weather for last two sea days were brutal 😟

Overwhelming is an accurate statement for modern cruising. Definitely take naps. I'd probably step away twice a day just to calm the nerves

I've been on 25 cruises. 3x meraviglia with 2 more coming. August 11th next. It's one of the best cruises going. Beautiful ship. Very good food. Only thing is that the Brooklyn terminal is a horror show. Last 4 or 5 blocks take 30 minutes every time. Wait times in terminal were 3 hours then 25 minutes then 1 hour fifteen minutes.

This gonna be my last cruise with msc cause they prefer crystals to more free restaurants so u are packed like sardines in the buffett...i just cant get my monry back as they gave us credit for the previous cruise

Did I miss episode 3 Ocean Cay? I can't find it. Also were you at all nervous in Nassau? I thought there was a travel warning because of all the gang related crime happening?

Try looking for it directly from our channel and you should see it! It was definitely the highlight of the cruise! We didn’t go too far outside the port area in Nassau so we felt fine. Having been there several times we are comfortable staying with a short walking distance of that area. Going out and about much further, it wouldn’t hurt to utilize an excursion if you’re not feeling completely comfortable.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see any long lines in your video at buffet. And even if there are long lines, I guess you didn't want to wait 30-40 minutes to work your way through them. A half hour wait for food isn't unusual and it often takes that long getting served in the main dining room. But I can relate to your impatience which is why I never use either the main dining room or buffet on a cruise but use only specialty dining or dining in the suite dining rooms.

That’s a great solution for those with those options. Being our first MSC cruise we wanted to experience as much as we could. The main issue with MSC‘s buffet on this ship is how poorly it is set up which leads to mass confusion in crowds to maneuver through. We are very patient people which is why this one stood out over other cruise lines. Thanks for checking out our videos!

We did not personally use the main dining room for breakfast or lunch, but our understanding is there are set hours for breakfast in one of the main dining rooms. There is of course the buffet for all meals and many of the specialty and quick service restaurants are available for lunch.

We would consider it as long as it was an itinerary we were interested in. We would not go for the sake of making this ship the destination. We are going to cover the full pros and cons and why we would or would not go on this specific ship or sale with MSC again in an upcoming video as there seems to be an interest in further discussion about MSC.

Yes. Breakfast is great there but lunch is a pass. Mu husband got a bacon cheeseburger which is one of their pre-made burgers with the tiniest slice of bacon ever. It was a sad lunch

What you do at the buffet is you get a table 1st then you go get your food. I never understood the logic of people walking around with their food. Looking for a table. Get your table put the silverware down put a glass of water down and then you get your food and you know where you’re sitting.
