Making the bicycle softer. How to replace a fork on a mtb bike

This bike came into our shop to have the suspension fork replaced.
The owner of this MTB regularly has my favorite bike serviced.
Every winter, the fork on this mountain bike is changed to a hybrid fork so as not to spoil his soft suspension fork.
In the meantime, the soft fork is serviced.
When spring comes, we reinstall the soft fork to enjoy riding)
With a suspension fork, the bike becomes much more comfortable and enjoyable)

Welcome to our channel. You can take Chinese carbon forks, but it is better to choose a metal stem

I have a 2006-07 Trek 4300 "wishbone" frame🤘; it's a beginner to mid-range frame. The only original part from the original purchase from July 2007 is the sh!tty headset spacer👎😁. It's got all XT; well, except for the hubs. XT 739 V-brake levers $150.00🍁, 760 XT V-brakes $160.00🍁; M770 XT HallowTek 2 crank (with the original middle chainring from 2008) it was 💰375.00🍁. The XT Shadow 9spd. rear derailer was 💰190.00🍁 ; the XT 760 front dereailer $65.00. The M772 Rapid F!re plus shifters 💰250.00🍁, and an XTR 970 9spd. cassette with Hopefully the 4 L cogs maflde from 6/4 Titanium; this XTR cassette was 💰250.00🍁. I also have a 7075 aluminum TITEC H*llbent riser bar, a 7075 aluminum Royal Navy blue Chris King headset that I paid 💰250.00🍁🤘🤘, a 7000 series aluminum 130mm 5° rise Thomson Elite stem 💰141.00🍁; and a 💰145.00🍁 Thomson Elite 410mm post. I just learned that Thomson makes really sh🤘rp 7000 series aluminum headset spacer sets🤘. I know, a lot of 💰 for a beginner to mid-range frame, but at least I got to customize it😁👍👍

Just mounted my markhor three days ago. Amazing fork, riding quality is 10 times better than on my old suntour xct. Have you noticed any play in bushings after installing this one? Mine has this problem, when holding the front brake and moving my bike back and forward i can hear a knocking sound and feel noticible play.

Yes, unfortunately, it's a peculiarity. Manitou forks after 2015 have this feature. I strongly recommend not to use the front brake all the time. In the future, you will get more knocking noise or the inner fork bushing (slip ring) will start to fall off.

Puedes hacer un video de como desarmar esa horquilla para poder limpiar y lubricar los resortes que están dentro de ella. Supongo que se debe empezar por esas dos tapas de goma que están arriba a cada lado de la horquilla, hasta ahí llegué yo, pero no se como seguir. Gracias
