Deku's hero costume was based of of allmight, the floppy parts of his mask is to resemble the allmights hair when allmight is in his power form and the mask was supposed to look like a big smile since allmight was always smiling, doesn't look like that anymore since deku has now turned vigilante.

what marvelous creation! hoping this comment is seen, but how would one go about scaling and measuring for the mask itself? i'm interested and am only held back from this minor obstacle, but i'd love to make one of my own! would a good start be printing from the file downloaded directly?

I’m a pretty big dude so if you are around average height or below you may have to scale it down a bit. I’d say print it out and tape the pieces of paper together to get a rough scale.

Is using an airbrush necessary to get it to look the way you did, or will a standard brush work fine?

A standard brush should work fine. Barely get any paint on the brush and dab it on some paper to get excess off and then dab the paint brush on your desired area and layer it.

Thank you for this tutorial! I was wondering, for the resin, how much did you use in the ear area? Did you coat the entire inside of the helmet or just the ear? Also what kind of fabric spray paint did you use for the outer part of the mask?

Hello, I only put resin in the ear area and it was just the get the desired shape I wanted for them. And I used Plasti Dip spray paint for the foam.

Yes, I recommend to use normal primer beforehand and then use 2-3 coats of gloss black for the "metal" section

That is 6mm EVA Foam. I only used white so that the markings are easier to see on camera.

For my mask I used PLA at 100% infill and I have no worries about it breaking but for the ones I make for commissions are PETG just in case.
