Making the E92 M3 sound like a CSL with the Eventuri Carbon Fiber Plenum

We've been helping Eventuri develop their latest product, a full carbon fibre plenum for the S65 engine found in the E92 M3.
With the product ready to release and Ryan Stewart's track focused E92 M3 spending the week at HQ for the launch media, we thought it would be a good chance to get Ryan down and show you all the stunningly aggressive car he's built. And of course take it out for a drive to really hear that S65 sing the CSL song with the Eventuri carbon plenum.

For a track car I would place the extinguisher in the passenger footwell for easier access. You are going to lose some crucial seconds getting it from back there.

Amazing sound and im super conflicted on havin one again but that thing is trouble lol. Those years were the cost cuttinf years for bmw. Can tell fro paint, materials(the leather was really good btw), build quality, electronics and general mechanical bs that goes wrong with them.

For Such a special car not sure if I’m digging those wheels. Not saying they are ugly but definitely would go with something else. Lighter wheels don’t mean it had to be ugly. Plenty of options out there. Just gotta shell out 💵 💵 💵 Ps: nvm, he uses this car straight up as track car so I suppose those wheels are justified lol

Nice video! could you please do video on why headers gain near 0 power as well as why people say cams do nothing on the s65 engine. if the engine is a pump why wont Cams and headers do nothing for the s65 and why do some people say they gain as much as 45hp.

The cams on the car are already got the most angle on them more lift will alter the duration messing with the fuel/air ratio which is no good for a already high revving engine. The headers cannot be improved.

Hey Imran, just a couple quick questions..I know you stated that the plenum is purely for cosmetic and noise with no power gains; which I’m completely ok with..I’m assuming you did a before and after with the plenum, so it legitimately netted 0 hp and 0 tq gains over the stock unit throughout the powerband? Was the test car decatted? Oh and I vote you get another e92 😜

It may seem silly in theory, but the intake noise is really worth it in reality. I can't speak for the E9x platform but the carbon box on my E46 has one of the best sounds under load that I've ever heard. Worth every cent and then some 😀

Few things... why do you have stock DCT Paddles? Shitly small. Secondly i had my E92 DCT GTS software upgrade done a few weeks ago and thirdly....I will be having a stage 2 primary decat and remap done SOON!
