I'm a bit of a stickler for map details, especially scale, especially the scale of mountains. This made has a pretty good scale for the mountains and the rest of the island. Assuming the mountains aren't over 2 km at their highest, everything on the map, besides roads and railways, is accurate. From that vantage point, roads and railways would be too small to see. But you did a really good job, and I like it! Cheers!

What if we built a one gauge scale model of Sodor, right off the coast of Barrow-In-Furness?
@MiCAHmp44 жыл бұрын
Geezus... This does bring me back. A very well done painting/sculpture/replica/whateveryouwanttocallit. Although I suggest when painting make sure to stroke your brush in the one direction unless you're outlining the model (preferably right to left) as I can still see the multiple brush strokes going multiple directions which ends up looking a bit messy. Besides that this is does look fantastic. Keep up the good work.
@Terrier55Stepney4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'll take note of that, I'm not very professional when it comes to painting! Specifically, where do you mean? On the greenery, or the sea? Thanks for the advice. I appreciate when criticism is constructive like this and not just rude.
@MiCAHmp44 жыл бұрын
@@Terrier55Stepney I appreciate the compliment!! And I also meant the sea especially since it takes up the majority of the canvas which makes it more noticeable but in some cases it can also work on smaller details depending on what the project is. And I'm also willing to give constructive criticism especially to people who have a whole lot of potential like you for example (please don't let it get to your head lol) it's such a shame though that people like to do just talk smack and not be more mature. Nevertheless I hope you found what I said helpful for future projects that you may do.
