I didn't think to clamp a board to the side in order to discourage flexing. Smart!

A great video I really enjoyed it you have a new subscriber. I am original from Nottingham England but I emigrated to Newfoundland Canada in 1990 - 2018 I decided to keep koi in my garden pond like I did in the UK but here the winter is brutal like -20 is very common so we have our own chalenges. Plus we can’t purchase equipment so I have to make everything ie filters etc. Cheers Mate.

Much appreciated. Our winters here aren't too bad, but water drops to 5 degrees so I'm looking at adding a heater somehow, more for the other fish.

I loved this video, thank you. I am literally trying to copy it. I spent over an hour at Home Depot (local hardware store) looking for the white circle thing with mesh that you have at the bottom. Is it something you had hanging around at your home or is it something you purchased at a store? If so, what is it called or where can I find it? Thanks

Awe, thanks. Most of theses fittings on in the down pipe & guttering section. Fairly inexpensive too 😚

nice. are those stainless steel pot scratchers?
@wrightyo Жыл бұрын
Yes, chucked them in, reduce the flow too.

@@wrightyo I think you are supposed to put plastic scrubbers. Not stainless steel as the heavy metal would leech into the water? especially if it is low grade stainless steel? ps loved ur video

@@cdropbox Good idea. I'm moving the filter into its final position soon. I'll get them out. Thanks for letting me know.

1.400 x 650 x 500 = 455 liters is correct, you got 780 liters because you put 2.400 x 650 x 500. Just info.
