Crazy!! I used to order my cars back in the day because I liked the idea it was new, new and thought the 8weeks was bad! I don’t know how you or anyone else is doing it. Talked to someone from Porsche and there was some vehicles still 18+ months! My worry is once the big corps realize they can charge more they will since people are understandably not wanting to wait and paying dealer markups/“used” prices. Sorry!

I’ve been trying my best lol as it is one of my all time favourite cars!! Nearly bought a MK7.5 but got my BRZ instead (it would have been a family car and DSG (which I have and appreciate in my GTI) but I’m a manual guy and my BRZ (because of price) is a second car. So far both dealers here have told me NO lol (and I I have a great relationship). There’s been 3 but because the are “used” and 20k over MSRP they don’t want drives just in case. did they add in seat latch connectors for kids car seats in third row?? They failed big time with those, marketing atlas as family vehicle, and then not making it car seats friendly. Also, 20MPG is a PURE LIE, you are lucky if you get that exclusivelly on the highway. I own an 3.6 Atlas btw

@@Neutralreviews yeah, unbelivable. Yeah, you can use car seats, BUT, having them secured with latches makes everything to stay in place when there is nobody in them and they dont fly around (talking about booster seats) I will not be upgrading to newer atlas until they sort this shit out with latches, its unaceptable in 2023 to not have them. That's not exclusive to VW. The brakes on my european BMW 1 series were changed 5 times at 150.000 km. Even though I'm driving speeds up to 140 mph daily (germany), the ACC is the reason for this.

VR6 engine is solid! A bit more costly on oil changes and maintenance, but it's been used for quite some time, you can easily do the research. The engine isn't normally where you'd have issues w the Atlas.

Sooooo....the V6 Atlas is in the shop right now as we speak. Reason being...having electrical issues with the dash, automatic breaks despite nothing being there, crash signal will blink even though you're not near anything and it has stall/sluggish acceleration. When I look up online...apparent not the only one experiencing these issues.

My wife’s 2021 Tiguan SEL R-line. 18 000 miles. Car is actually in service. We are waiting for new engine. From 10 000 to 18 000 miles I added 4 quarts of oil. Smoke from exhaust, no power.
