Wow! pulling out a blow torch out at ANY TIME during an on-site food prep is going to take care of those pesky in-person omplaints. Problem is can't do same with the Real Nasty On-line trollers. Alas, but we can dream, can't we...? 🤣 lol! Is about a joke? 🤥 ....Hmm,, let me think about this. .?? 🤔 🙄🤭 , & think 🤭, and & think ... 💤😴💤..sigh, okay, I'll behave, if I must). On the other hand, this Vegan Grinder is a TOTAL WINNER, so we'll just forget about them. And Chow Down!! 😋🌯💚

Mine too. I like it so much, I stopped trying any others. I just stick with that one. Add some hummus, and other condiments, and you have a great sandwich. Kind of nice that it isn't a type 1 carcinogen, like lunch meat made from animals. Other type 1 carcinogens are tobacco smoke and asbestos.

Nice call on adding a creamy dressing to the veggies before topping. I’d say the only thing you’re missing is a drizzle of balsamic vinegar on the top side of the bread. It makes a massive difference and is something I forgot was added to some of the best non vegan Italian deli sandwiches I had in the past in NYC. Seitan’s Helper in Brooklyn reminded me and it’s a game changer.

This looks so good! Well done! I love that you keep your recipes accessible. Sauce Stache is incredible and no hate, but sometimes I don't want to spend $20 on an obscure ingredient and spend 6 hours on a "steak" It reminds me of the grinder sandwich at this vegan deli here in Austin. If anyone visits or is passing through, stop by Rebel Cheese. It's seriously amazing and is a really wholesome local business! Plus they have a whole selection of gourmet vegan cheeses

I used to get subs all the time, so I'm super stoked! That sauce and just everything together sounds amazing, definitely trying this soon. Everyone I've had try our reubens (lots of non-vegans too) using the Unreal corn'd beef has absolutely loved it. We usually heat it in a pan with some oil though because yeah, it starts off a bit dry. I also might add on, let's say, a not so low-calorie amount of sauce to the sandwiches 😁

Nice presentation of the video--you did your homework, experimented, and presented it well. I love the Field Roast; not so much for the texture, which is a lot like the others, but for the flavors. Field Roast offers real flavors that aren't "meat substitutes." What I want with a sandwich slice is the shape and ease, I don't need it to taste like ham or beef. My favorites: Balsamic Mushroom and the Smoked Tomato. I haven't had the Pepperoni, but the others are moist and foldable (which I like to do.)

Those sandwiches look absolutely scrumptious. I find those Mia Prosciutto slices do work really well on pizza. Their smoky flavor is pretty strong and the texture isn’t the greatest cold so I agree they aren’t the best for sammies. But they crisp up really well on pizza (with olive oil, (v) mozzarella, (v) feta or goat cheese, caramelized onions, and red pepper flakes).

Great vid as usual. Appreciate the reviews. I like the Yves salami and ham. That's what I use most exclusively. Plus, they have them at my local shop for a good price. Checked out the Bee Hive. Not available local to me. Was going to order on line, but good grief a bit outta my budget. And, how come these have to be consumed in 3 days? I can't eat a whole pack in 3 days. We used to have an open pack of real meat, ham or roast beef, in the fridge for 2 months and it was still good.

When I was eating vegan cheeses, the only vegan cheese I had that I couldn't recommend is Daiya. I could taste what they were going for but its taste is too strong, and it has a weird texture. The best way for me to describe it would be Kraft Dinner vs Knockoff Kraft Dinner. It's meant to mimic the kd taste but somewhere along the line it went horribly wrong. Also, pickle your red onions. It makes them taste soooooo much better.

Tried the Tofurkey before with just plain sandwiches (Aka "meat" "cheese" and "Mayo"). It tasted okay, like 85% resembled turkey, even looked like it, but it just didn't bite the same. It was less like a meat and more like a turkey flavored hard cheese. Had to pass on that. This might convince me to try again.

I recommend you look into transglutamase, aka "meat glue" It sounds gross but all it is is an enzyme that binds proteins together. I've been experimenting with making vegan cheese with it and still have a bit to go, but you should experiment with it and see if you can use it in any of your projects. It's pretty cheap too
