I wholeheartedly vouch for curry Mayo, avant-garde vegan has it in his cookbook for a tofu sandwich, but it can go with anything. It’s great.

I have AGS and I MISS the big macs, pizza, cheeseburgers, CHEESE or even just plain old eating out (Mainly because cross contamination is a thing as they always use the same grill to cook the vegan patties as they do with meat ones).. I could go on all day about what I miss but you sir have opened me up to being able to eat what I love without the trip to the hospital for anaphylaxis!

3:43 the Chao brand’s jalapeño sliced vegan cheese is basically vegan pepper Jack cheese and it is sooooo good. and it doesn’t turn gray when melted, ive never personally seen one that does 😅 they also have a cayenne pepper cheese and i love eating that one on an egg or breakfast sandwich

These donuts were amazing. My wife and the kids agree, they taste so much like the real thing. Also your Coconut Bacon is just great. We used the shreds because it was available and still they are addictively snackable all on their own.

I have three tortillas in the fridge waiting for a delicious recipe like that! Tysm! Haha Just made it… I got the cheese to melt without the broiler and without burning my tortilla. I drizzled a teaspoon of water around the edge, covered the pan, took it off the stovetop to continue cooking (leaning to stovetop on) and then back on the stovetop for a final minute uncovered, give it a shot!

This might sound totally nuts but do you have any recipes to just make a regular chesseburger, like they have at McDonalds. I am not sure what goes on a cheeseburger besides the cheese and burger.

Just season to taste, those burgers are just cheese, pickles, diced onions and ketchup and mustard. Actually one of my favorite burgers to make. So simple!

Hey man, just found your channel a few minutes ago, lol. I eat meat, but the vegan substitute has me curious... Next time I'm at the store, I'm gonna pick some up. What brands do you recommend? You said something about Beyond and Impossible and mixing them together? I wanna look into it, you seem very knowledgeable about it. (: Also, I like my burgers mediumish when I'm not smashing them. Can you do that with vegan meat?

Hey, I used to eat a lot of meat and I like Impossible quite a bit. You can get it to be medium rare for sure, takes a little practice like anything else, but a hot cast iron to sear it will definitely help. For Smashburgers, I have a video from a few weeks back. I found that smashing these plant based patties the way you would an animal based patty will dry them out since the fat melts faster. So I actually do a smash burger style but keep it around 1/2 inch thick. So you can get a nice sear and keep it medium rare and kinda get the best of both worlds (no lacey edges but a good solid sear nonetheless). Let me know if you have any other questions!
